I've never had essiac tea before, so I don't have a basis for comparison; however, I do enjoy other teas on a regular basis. With that said, I really like this variety quite a bit. It was originally recommended to me by a friend for its anti-inflammatory properties. While it's too early to really detect any health differences, I can say that this tea smells and tastes terrific. It brews easily and has a rich color. No milk, sugar, honey, etc. needed. Very pleased overall. I absolutely plan on buying more eventually.

This is very delicious tea AND my tummy feels better after only three days one cup per day. I have terrible terrible tummy issues for many years and in three days it's already better. I will check back in here later and keep you all posted because I bought this tea to help with my fatty liver issues related to my weight (not alcohol which I don't use). Also I'm an organic master gardener and my body doesn't do well with chemicals so I have grown and dry my own herbs for teas...so I believe this is genuinely organic tea and very flavourful. When I squeeze out the teabag it's slippery like slippery elm should feel. I highly recommend this tea ☕

Too expensive, would buy again if it was less.

I like the tea, I mix it with a peach ginger tea and use honey to sweeten. Tastes good this way. I haven’t drank enough to decide if the anti inflammatory effect are working yet. I will have to give it a little time.

The taste depends on the person, when I drink this it reminds me of a stronger iced tea unsweetened no lemon. If you enjoy a plain iced tea you probably will not mind the flavor of this. But it does have a earthy aftertaste to it. I prefer drinking at cold others prefer it hot depends on the person.If you're used to a sweet iced tea or a flavored iced tea you probably will not enjoy this one unless you add other stuff to it.I try to drink at least one to two glasses of this a day.
