I tried my first ever powder coat while restoring some old tools. This is a beautiful glossy jet black and turned out really well and was easy to do. I don't know if all paint is the same but this worked really well and made for a nice shiny, durable finish.

Awesome color

works just fine for 'shake and bake' style bullet powder coating. Bit of advice if you are powder coating bullets. Do not do the 'pre heat' thing. Makes more problems than it solves. Also be aware this amount of powder will last you for a decade or so worth of powder coating.

Color is great and easy to use

This review and 3 stars is based on powder coating cast lead boolits using the shake and bake method. I originally bought the eastwood Earl's Light Blue. It worked very well with good coverage. I bought another color to differentiate loads and thought gloss black would work just as well as blue. I am admittedly new to this, so maybe it was my technique, but the black powder didn't adhere to the boolits nearly as well. If i figure out a way to improve adhesion, Ill update this review. For now, I'd recommend a different color for someone just starting to powdercoat boolits.
