No point to other tablets. This is the BEST tablet in 2017!
THE BEST tabet for $300 and under. I researched for a couple weeks on a tablet for this price point. I mainly wanted a tablet that was good at watching videos. Some tablets use a 4:3 ratio for better reading, but that seems pointless to me. *My tablet choices before buying where the HUAWEI MediaPad M3 vs ASUS ZenPad 3S vs Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus. *Off the top of my head the MediaPad M3 has issues with its refresh rate on its screen so that was an immediate no. Also, no bluetooth. *Can't really recall much else besides about the ZenPad 3S other than the aspect ratio being 4:3 and much smaller resolution. Just didn't see the point of gimping myself with the MediaPad or ZenPad when the Tab 3+ is just better. This tablet is jam packed with features. 2560x1600 resolution makes it look amazing. The 4 JBL speakers actually provide noticeable stereo/front facing surround sound and they're fairly good when you have no other speakers/headphones to use. I wouldn't count on using the speakers as your sole source since they're still lacking bass and the sound is still slightly piercing, but again they're a lot better than other tablets I've compared it to. The metal stand/hanger is an amazing feature. I use it all the time and I don't see how a case with a stand could compare. It's amazingly sturdy and Ive even hung it from wall nails and ledges with no fear of it collapsing. The stand side also has the battery on the same side. The battery adds an uneven weight to the tablet. You would think that would be bad, but it's not. Due to the weight and the curve of the tablet it makes handling and gripping it much easier than standard tablets. There's also a hole in the stand that's meant for hanging it. I find myself slipping a finger in it for easier grip, which is nice. Due to the design of the tablet you get a lot of ways to comfortably and firmly grip the tablet. On a normal tablet the shape is just flat. With the Tab 3 Plus, as I talked about above, you get the curve from the battery and stand. I can't understate how great it is to have that to hold onto. You can extend the stand out to provide another way to hold onto it as well. The tablet also looks super slick. The color scheme and material are great. It has a leather/pleather material on the back which looks great and people will comment on it looking good. The stand also feels really sturdy. Seems like steel it's that nice. It's more likely aluminum or something. The battery also appears to be great. It holds a charge for days with use. Watching videos and such drains it, but it'll still last 2-3 days I think with heavy use. Very little to no bloatware. This can basically be turned into a mobile HDTV and I use it as one frequently. Can't understate how useful the stand is and how good the speakers are for a tablet. Now, this does have some flaws. *The biggest flaw is that apparently the screen has some kind of brightness adjuster that I have yet to figure out how to disable without rooting. The issue so far only happens when the screen is like 90% white. Basically, it seems to flicker. I noticed it with my Reddit app. It is really annoying to look at. Personally, I just changed the app to night time viewing and swapped to a black color scheme. No other apps are white enough to what I assume is trigger the adaptive brightness. You can google more about this and I think there's some videos on Youtube. You can apparently fix this by rooting it and doing some stuff. Having said all this, since it only occurs in rare situations, I don't think it's enough to turn down the tablet. *The speaker is on the side, rather than bottom. Now this isn't a negative for me, but it might be for some people. The reason this is a possible con for people is you lose left and right audio when using it vertically. I really don't see the point in spending more money on a tablet or looking for a different one unless you're a hardcore vertical user or mobile gamer. I haven't really tested the gaming on it.

Great Tab....But it's about what you want in a Tab.
It's all about what you want in a Tablet to fit your lifestyle. It’s a give and take with features. My usage is about 20% work related stuff and 80% entertainment but trust me it's powerful to handle your work stuff (Pfd's, word, excel, powerpoint etc). With that said, this is a must if you like Entertainment. This was the first time i heard of QHD displays and I was blown away by the crisp details. The display is bright, rich and clean down to the last pixel. Pictures/videos are superb with rear camera @ 13MP and front @ 5 MP. Excellent for your social media life like Facebook and Instagram. To couple with that for a great experience, the sound is amazing, clean clear surround sound, it makes me feel like i'm in a Cinema. Two thumbs up for Dolby Atmos sound. Now since i use my Yoga Pro alot for entertainment i would expect that i would have to keep it plugged in most of the time but this is not so, it packs a powerful battery. The battery makes the Pro a little heavier but so what it's not a brick. Also the versatility of the kickstand why would you want to hold it, this kickstand makes it very practical and comfortable for all angles. I even use mine's on the bed with the kickstand. Now to what i thing is the best feature and the main reason i bought this tablet, the PROJECTOR. I mean right off people would see it has a projector and want to analyze the projector down to a Tee with negativity, come on guys its a projector on a tablet, you cant expect it to be the most powerful projector like an Optoma or Epson at 2000 - 3000 Lumens, it’s a 50 Lumen DLP projector. So i won't use the project in a well lit room, it shows in semi-dark room but amazing in a dark room with the same HD quality. So for all of you like me who loves to watch movies and series whether Netflix, Youtube or even Kodi this is the Tablet for you. This is your personal TV that goes with you everywhere, all the places you might not get to watch what you want or a quiet place to enjoy your series without disturbances. So no matter where you go, travelling on vacations, camping, stay over at friends or family, even when the boss is not around in work this is a great companion. Talking about the Yoga Tab 3 Pro can't suffice to seeing it in action as i learnt with friends and coworkers who were amazed and wanted the exact name to look at buying one for themselves.

One of the best low to mid range tablets on the market
Build : Lenovo built a wonderful little machine here. The spine of the tablet houses a pair of excellent Dolby speakers that broadcast rich, wonderful sound and a huge battery (relative to tablets) that serves to power Lenovos vision of using this as a multimedia device. The battery lasts greater than 6 hours under some moderately heavy use. The camera is fair enough as far as tablets go as well. It's built on a swivel that rotates 180 degrees for front facing and rear facing video or pictures. The back side of the tablet is made to feel like a soft leather and delivers a pleasant texture when holding it. Because of the large battery, the tablet is a bit weighty, but I like the heft. It feels durable and not like some other devices that feel like they're made of cheap plastic. The spine has a kick stand that flips out by a button press and allows the tablet to be oriented a few interesting ways, including hanging. As long as the stand is locked into one of the two positions the tablet is fairly stable. This little device is built for people who want a more convenient way to enjoy media and browse the web. It's not a gaming tablet and will struggle under heavy applications. But if you want something to take with you will me you ride the train, wait at the doctor's office, etc look no farther. The spine makes for a very comfortable and natural hand hold while viewing in portrait mode. The speakers are extremely good and very quite loud, meaning this a perfect media device for music or downloaded Netflix shows or YouTube clips. Apps like Kindle or libby make reading a real pleasure. I love it and you probably will too. I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a more convenient way to consume digital media

(Prime video, Netflix, YouTube, etc.)
