180 Blank Playing Cards, Poker Size 2.5" x 3.5" Matte Finish Custom Cards

I purchased these Blank Playing Cards to create some custom Cards Against Humanity cards. Pros: ✔ Good Quality – The matte finish is smooth, and the cards feel sturdy. ✔ Perfect for DIY Games – Great for creating custom card games, flashcards, or teaching tools. ✔ Easy to Write On – Works well with pens, markers, and even light stamping without smudging. ✔ Generous Quantity – 180 cards provide plenty of room for creativity. Cons: ❌ Not Waterproof – Cards are paper-based, so they may wear over time with heavy use. ❌ No Storage Box – Would be nice if it came with a storage container. Sturdy and durable.

These cards are the perfect cut, size and weight to use for making proxy cards to Magic the Gathering. The only potential issue is figuring out what type of pen to use. After experimenting with a wide variety of pens it became apparent that these cards are very quick to absorb oils on the skin and cause an inconsistent line with many types of ink, as can be seen in the first image. However diligence paid off. Copic markers work wonderfully, drying quickly and behaving just like they do on normal marker paper. However to get a nice fine line, SHARPIE Permanent Markers, Ultra Fine Point did the job. NOTE: not the SHARPIE Pen, or S gel, only the traditional Permanent Alcohol Sharpie fine point worked fast and clear, other types smeared way to easily for way too long. Pigma Microns which are normally my go to pen for working with ink and Copic Markers took a very long time to dry, somewhere between 1 and 24 hours. I found a test card the following day and checked if they would still smear, microns did not smear at 24 hours, but that is too much time. So anyways, pick up some SHARPIE Permanent Markers, Ultra Fine Point and some Copic markers and go nuts!

They are blank and laminated on both sides. They come in 4 sealed packs of 45 cards. They don't take drafting pens well, but they do take alcohol inks (e.g. Sharpie, Expo) very well. They feel like trading game cards. They do not have a linen texture, they are glossy and perfectly smooth.

The pack that I got had four bundles of 50 cards - cellophane wrapped. The paper cards are that same size and weight of a inexpensive pack of poker cards that I have (the only difference is the playing cards have a finish applied to them). The blank cards are matte finished and seem to hold ink fairly well with no bleeding. I'm using a variety of pens with these cards - Sharpie permanent markers, Uni-ball metallic gel pens, and assorted highlighters. The gel pens look great and the Sharpies work well too. These cards hold up well under light handling, but start getting a bit ragged over time with heavy use. For what I'm using these cards for (flash-cards, random-number generators, art-card pieces) they hold up adequately for my needs. I will probably be purchasing more of these again in the future. The only markers I had problems with (that I've tried), were the Sharpie brand flip chart markers. The ink from those beaded up on the surface of the cards and smeared. The highlighters smeared a bit too - but I sort of like the water-color like effect that you can get with using them on these cards.

Quite good, more than enough for even an mtg deck with a lot of tokens and if you like to glue them all on these work great even though they still feel nice and smooth

I'm using these to create a "Sight Word Memory" game for my 1st-grader. We've played with them a lot, and they are holding up well. Since the cards are blank, I am able to tailor the game to the words his teacher is working on in class. I also have thrown in some seasonal words (pumpkin, ghost, spider) and words he thinks are fun to learn (the name of his favorite football team). Pro tip if you want to create a similar game: Make two cards for each word and on one card add a star or symbol in the corner. It makes it a lot easier when you need to sort the cards and know if you have both cards for a match.

Inte så matta som jag trodde, tog lite tid för bläcket i tex pennan att härda och akrylfärgen jag använde känns fortfarande klibbig en vecka senare. Andra pennor fungerar nog bättre.
