Excellent camera. Purchased five with four in place now for a month. Easy setup with charging, firmware upgrade and immediate connection to wifi. Haven't had any issues with wifi with repeaters up to 20m from camera. A bit of flexibility required initially to position for best effect by day and by night to get the sweet spot for both while experimenting with the detection sensitivity and the 145 degree field of view. Solar charging has been excellent with battery retained at >95% on all cameras. When positioned correctly night vision is very good. Very few false alerts from PIR/radar. 4k resolution provides a very good picture and micro-sd card recording and playback has worked very well. I have found the baseus security app to be very good and with good options to notify, record, capture etc. Cameras have been up in strong winds and heavy rain and maintained performance including connectivity.

It may be a very good camera, and as for a set up is concerned, it was almost easy, what I mean by that if I found my Bluetooth, and then it kept saying it could not find my Wi-Fi and I was no more than a foot from it. It never asked for my Wi-Fi password to anything. It was a little frustrating and the manual doesn’t help at all.

This is my second review. At first, I was very frustrated because the camera wouldn't do anything before a firmware update, and the update repeatedly failed to complete. I think it was a wi-fi problem - theirs, not mine, and something other reviewers have noted. In any case, I moved it right next to my main router and the update completed. Maybe just coincidence if the problem was really their update server(s). In any case, everything has been fine since. Detection and picture quality have been great, the solar panel is sufficient to keep it charged, and it doesn't even seem to have had any trouble with connecting since that first day. Still knocking off a star because of that out-of-the-box experience, but otherwise excellent.

Bases security camera is one of best security cameras. Its auto rotate solar pannel is my favorite which rotates according to Sun Direction. Its 4k quality is good during day and night. You dont need to worry about electric wiring due to its solar panel. Just install and forget about the rest. Its store footage locally and have a slot for SD card as well. Its radar , and face recognition features are awesome. The footage is bright and clear. Its very easy to install an setup.Worth buying with this price. I am liking it.

I give it one star then changed to 3 Now back to one for the simple fact of WiFi range and connectivity and playback. With the wireless access router in the same area as the camera and it fails to playback, takes minutes to open a clip, not all the time but enough for me to pull my hair out. On top of that it records an incident almost at the end. You get an alert, check the clip and the subject iqs out of the view and you watch empty scene. I’m disappointed with this device. The sound quality is poor, and I couldn’t recognize my own voice when I recorded myself. There’s also an issue with the alert, as the image it displays is often inaccurate or fails to appear at all. The WiFi range is limited, and when viewing the screen live, the camera doesn’t record what’s being watched. You have to press the record button manually. Additionally, when used as a spotlight, the camera won’t record. Despite having a facial recognition option, the Terms of Service essentially authorize the app to use your data however they please. There are only two recording options: 4K or 720p, with no in-between options. The 4K recording takes a long time, and the 720p option is outdated. Furthermore, there are times when the camera fails to record even though it’s fully charged, and there are missing hours or calendar entries with no data.

After a week of use, I'm finally free from false alarm notifications. My old camera would go crazy whenever the wind blew—even rustling leaves triggered motion alerts. I upgraded to the S2 specifically for its dual radar and PIR detection, and so far it's proven effective. It's only triggered for actual people or vehicles. The solar panel automatically rotates to track the sun—it felt pretty novel when I first installed it. The battery has stayed above 90% these past few days, and I haven't had to recharge it yet. But it's only been a week—we'll see how it holds up when cloudy days roll in.

Preso con le offerte di primavera ad un prezzo onestissimo. L'installazione fisica è stata abbastanza semplice. Per quanto riguarda il collegamento wifi tra l'hub e le telecamere non è difficile, ma state attenti alla distanza ed a quante pareti ci sono di mezzo tra i dispositivi. Una mia telecamera è situata a circa 7 metri di distanza con due pareti di mezzo e ho avuto difficoltà a collegarla, però dopo vari tentativi ci sono riuscito. Le indicazioni dicono 10 m, ma penso che si riferisca al campo aperto.

Kit acheté lors d'une action à 129€ pour remplacer une caméra Arlo Pro 4. Que des avantages !!!! Images / vidéos de qualité identique à la Arlo Pro 4 (cette dernière fait 250€ quand même ....) et ce tant de jour que de nuit (en IR car avec les spot c'est pas le top). Pas besoin d'abonnement pour garder ses vidéos, le tout est stocké en local avec possibilité d'étendre le stockage via disque sata complémentaire (jusqu'à 16To accepté) (Arlo c'est minimum 5€/mois dans le cloud pour 30 jours, faites le compte). L'appairage des caméras, de la station de stockage et mises à jour des firmwares se font aisément. Dans l'application on peut gérer les zones d'enregistrement ou zones privées. Le seul bémol c'est qu'on doit travailler avec au maximum 2 rectangles pour délimiter les zones alors qu'Arlo permet par exemple de faire une forme adaptée à al surface que l'on veut surveiller. La station permet d'accueillir jusqu'à 8 caméras donc on peut supposer que les caméras seront disponibles à la pièce par la suite. La durée de vie des caméras est données pour 210 jours. Elles sont installées depuis 3 semaines et celle qui déclenche entre 8 et 10 fois par jours est encore à 90% (10% en 20 jours, ça devrait tenir ses promesses mais à voir sur le long terme). L'autre est toujours à 99% de batterie. Bref excellent petit kit pour celui qui ne veut pas mettre une fortune et extrêmement simple à mettre en œuvre. Je recommande !!
