The bags were light weight, but durable enough to put heavy food items in. The bags open easily and can easily tie at the end. The only thing I would suggest is that the product include twist ties for a better seal.

I got these to work on laminated doughs after a local baker recommended them over plastic wrap. I'm glad I got these. I can typically use one bag for several batches of dough and can easily adjust the size by folding any excess under the dough. Along with a roll of silicone mat, this really helped me up my game on technical baking. The size is perfect for handling typical book-folded dough (I used this primarily for German Franzbrötchen), but could also handle larger doughs as well.
