Universally Speaking
Took a chance on these as I had an old jug from Wilkinson's that took similar looking filters. To my pleasant surprise they fit perfectly and I can keep using my old jug. They work as expected and remove the worst of the chemical taste from my tap water.

Fits Brita jugs
The filters arrived well packaged in an unbranded plain white cardboard box with 6 filters individually sealed in plain unlabeled plastic wrappings. No instructions given, so had to assume they require similar preparation to Brita filters before use. No idea about the longevity but I normally change them every 4-8 weeks depending on the amount of water filtered (Brita suggest every 40 gallons of water = 150litres). Hard to verify all the claims made re quality of materials and filtration efficiency - how can you tell what minerals and how much are filtered without the help of a laboratory? Nonetheless, at half the price of original Brita filters, ~£14.45 for 6 cartridges offers good value for money.

Perfect fit
6 water pitcher round filters. They fit perfectly into old Wilko watter jugs and filter your water so it taste cleaner and better. The filter usually lasts around 30 days so it's a good price for a half of a year supply.

Good value water filter cartridges
I had used a Brita Classic water filter jug for many years, but for the last year I switched to a charcoal stick as it was more environmentally friendly. However, I was never completely convinced that the water tasted so good, so when these water filter cartridges appeared on my Amazon Vine screen, I decided to try them again. I have to say that my water does now taste better, and it's reassuring not to have that film on the top of my tea that I get with the charcoal stick. The only thing I wasn't so keen on with this product was that it came in a plain white box with no branding and no instructions. I have always previously shopped around for the best value water filter cartridges, and have never bought Brita ones, but they've always had instructions for use. With these ones, you have to refer to the website - and then the information is contradictory. The last of the bullet points says: Note: Before first use, soak the filter in water for 5 minutes and shake it for one minute to ensure that the filter is fully activated. However, the last of 8 photos says:1. Immerse cartridge in water and shake for 10 sec2. Insert into the funnel3. Discard the first 2 fillings. On the third you are ready to use your jug.I soaked my cartridge for 5 minutes, shook it, and discarded the first two fillings - as I have always done with previous cartridges.I guess that I should probably put aside my concerns about the plain white box, and believe the website information which clearly states that the cartridges are independently NSF certified to ensure drinking water safety. My tea certainly tastes better, and these are the first cartridges that I have had that last for 2 months, so with the current 10% discount voucher, you get a whole year's supply for only £15.29.
