About how ling does the cord stretch?

Not long. Maybe 6 feet but that's really pulling on it. Mine is brand new so I'm sure after awhile the cord will stretch out some more on its own

why does it weight 3.2 lbs. do you make a Led 12volt spotlight that has no battery and is light enough to hold while running down river?

Hi, the 3.2 lbs is the package and product weight, the product itself weighs about 2.35 lbs. We have a 3000LM Led handheld spotlight for sale in our store which is waterproof and weighs only 1.67 lbs. You are welcome to take a look about this GOODSMANN 3000LM Submersible Cree LED Spotlight: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GRNLMKF?ref=myi_title_dp. Hope this will be helpful. Thanks.

How long will the battery last under full charge?

Not very long. About 30 mins max

Does the cord come out when not charging?

By the design, this light is not rechargeable. Hope this will be helpful.

Extremely bright light, great for shinning, recuse,

If you are looking for that perfect gift or just personally need a great spot light this one is a must. Light is exactly what it says it is. This is Not your pocket light you grab to look in your closet for your lost shoe. This bad boy works great out side in wide open areas, it's great for searching for animals, rescues, shinning!! Beam is good for.5 mile or so. Shining fields with this is a breeze! The field button also a huge benifit. Wanna see something close up? Bam pull the trigger and the long range beam now lights up a close but wide area! Love that it's corded as all the good battery powered spot lights last only an hour on full then you have to recharge then for almost 4 hours, not with this bad boy, flip the switch and you're ready to roll. Don't have to worry about the battery.
