These socks are exactly as expected. The nice and tight but comfortably tight. They do work. I’ve been out in the rain several times and they keep my feet nice and dry so I recommend these socks. I don’t recommend putting them in the dryer, but I do recommend handwashing and drying if you want keep them for a long time.

I bought these to use in conjunction with (gasp) crocs /waterproof shoes for days i don't feel like wearing tall boots in cooler weather and at work (where I have to have covered feet). They keep my feet dry as long as water runs off of them and they don't sit in water for too long (more than a few minutes) AND I haven't worn them for too long (more than a couple hours), after which my feet get sweaty and the socks absorb the sweat. That said, even if they do sit in water for a bit and my feet get sweaty they don't feel as swampy as regular socks do. They are thick from all the layers so only really usable in mild to cold weather. Comfortable and snug for women's size 8. I've put them through several cold wash/dry cycles now and haven't noticed any deterioration, but I still try to at least hang dry them mostly.

These are super great waterproof socks I use them Becuase I play soccer without shoes and the grass is wet so I wear these they are very good and protect my feet and keep them dry but pay attention Becuase I thought they dried and left them in the bag it came with and didn’t realize the were wet and the next I opened them and there was fungus all over them so pay attention and wash them

Worked like a CHARM for my dog grooming job. Now I won't get wet socks or risk trench foot 💀
