Well, like a lot of people writing reviews, I did not use this product for it's intended purpose, but instead I used it as a container for my little Jumping Spider pet. Using a soldering iron with the smallest attachment, I melted holes into it for ventilation, threw in some eco earth, cork bark, and a few fake leaves, and presto, ideal habitat for my little Colonus Hesperus. And because it opens about an inch and a half from the top, I don't have to destroy the nest that they inevitably build at the top. I can just lift, and drop in some food or give the side a light misting. I would definitely reccomend this over all the commercial cages for jumping spiders, as those tend to be too big or they have issues with smaller jumpers escaping through small openings. I might actually buy another in case I catch another little friend. It was very easy to put this together and takes up no room at all. EDIT: A word of caution. Though soldering is a very effective and easy way to put holes in these boxes, it might not be so easy to get the ventilation size just right. If you make them too big, you will only be able to use this enclosure for adult spiders. The spider I put in the enclosure has never escaped. But it did have babies. And those eventually got out. So instead of trying to solder a bunch of tiny holes into the enclosure, I suggest you put one or two bigger holes in the enclosure. Get a roll of fine metal mesh, and some cheap metal rings ( optional but it will look nice ) and hot glue those over the hole to make your enclosure. Then you can make sure nothing escapes. Not even the fruit flies you'll need to feed to the babies.

I paid a lot less than the going rate today when I bought my Ultra PRO All Teams Figurine and Beanie Baby Display Case and I got a two pack of them. Prices do tend to go up and down a lot here on Amazon. Anyway, this figurine holder was for a special figurine that I wanted to protect. I like the size as it does fit the 6" figurine but the crease around where the top closes distracts from the overall look. The little clam shell protector is cute but wasn't needed in my case. This certainly isn't the sturdiest case and I wouldn't buy another one (especially at the new price) but it has held up for a few months sitting on a shelf. If it falls,it will crack though. This is OK but, if you cherish something and want it to look flawless in its case, you may want to keep looking for something that is a bit better quality. For me, it's a 4 star item. It does what it should do. However, I would not repurchase at the current $12.99 price.

I have purchased four of these cases. I use them to display DC Direct figures that range from 6" to 7" tall. I stand the figures in the lid and put the bottom of the cases in upside down so the seam isn't right on the figures 'face'. They look great. I receive compliments anytime someone sees them. Half of the cases have arrived cracked but Amazon has replaced them without any hassle. They even arranged for UPS to pick up the cracked ones. Once I received the damage free cases, I haven't had any trouble with them. They have held up to daily dusting (which is so much easier than cleaning the figures themselves), some rearranging, and a couple storms shaking the whole house. Even with the inconvenience and disappointment of receiving some broken ones, I would still purchase more of these as I get more figures and I still highly recommend them. They look great, are inexpensive, and keep your figures clean.

I hate that the price went up on these display cases..but in all reality, it's totally worth it! If they offered it in wholesale lots, I would buy many because they are perfect for displaying arachnids! The material doesn't crack if its drilled into. It's very light weight yet strong built. I bought 3, will be buying more soon!

Extremely disappointed with product quality. Ordered 2: one was cracked to the point I had to return it, and my replacement came with a chip in the lid. The second one came heavily scratched, also got delayed 3 weeks in shipping. Would not buy this product again nor recommend this product to anyone.

great for all your display needs. anything over 7 inches will not fit properly inside. be aware of size.

Temía por el tamaño, ya que quiero guardar unas figuras de Neca, pero no hay problema, entran sin problemas (mientras no sean de godzilla o parecidos lo que se intente exhibir ya que la cola no entraria). Lo único malo es la tapa ya que esta a unos 2 centimetros de la parte superior, si tu figura llega a esa posición por la linea se te hara incomodo el verla, pero bueno, te adaptas, igual puedes girarla para que la linea este en la parte inferior.

Product works well for my use as a insect enclosure, but has rough edges and arrived dirty

Bought for the purpose of putting my son's cherished toy monkey in as it's getting rather old now. Fits it's beautifully. When returned the first one due to being broken, no quad or quibble about sending a replacement out.
