It’s fine for the price for a smaller room. If you are planing to use it in a bigger classroom/room, it’ll be hard to read the short hand.

Clock is fine and appears as described. What I didn't realize I needed - and what this clock should have - is lighted or glow-in-the-dark hands and/or numbers. Because of the dark color, it is impossible to see in dim light.

When I bought this, I didn't pay attention to the "non-ticking" wording. I was just after something cheap for my office room... But when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the smooth continuous movement of the second hand. I didn't think I could get this type of movement in this price range! It's easy to read, aesthetically pleasing to look at, and definitely value for money! Of course, with it not "ticking", it runs silently too - great for quiet areas!

The hands are bronze with olive green background, so depending on the light and angle you can't see them easily at times, I would not recommend this color scheme for a clock.
