I bought these for my aging dog, who may have some doggy dementia. She has decided to do her business in the house. I'm not going to argue with a 15 year-old dog who has, until now, been solidly trained to go outside. I was using just the disposable pads from Costco, but they weren't cutting it. I was having to put down a few layers of those pads as sometimes she goes close to the edge, and so leaks. These are much larger, and thicker, so I put these down and put a disposable or two over the top. I can usually change out the disposables a few times, and then throw these in the wash. So far, they have washed up nicely, look as good as new when coming out of the washing machine. I do wash them twice, with white vinegar. Instructions say no bleach, but white vinegar with regular laundry detergent seems to be sufficient. My old gal isn't a chewer, so no clue if a chewer could destroy these quickly. I imagine so. But I do like these enough that I just ordered and received my second package of four so I have more clean ones in the queue to change more often.

I specifically like these pee pads for their superior fast drying quality, they are also very absorbent, leakproof, and easy to wash. I used to use the instant-throw-away-after-one-time-use pee pads, but my rabbit likes to tear them apart and consume them like a snack, even the ones without attractants he still likes to munch on them and I am not sure why. So one day I decided to spend some money to buy these washable reusable pee pads to give a try and it says the product is tearing resistant. I did find these to be tearing resistant, however it’s not rabbit teething resistant that my rabbit chewed a few openings through one of these pads, he spared the rest of the pads maybe he finally found out these are not edible and doesn’t taste good and he stopped the destruction of the rest. I would not deduct any points because of this, there are virtually no products as bunny teeth proofing except metals, it’s not a fault of this particular product. These are made with much strong materials compare to most other products and my bunny cannot shred them so he used his teeth mischievously. He quitted destroying the other pads after learned it’s not a easy job to be done on one of them. So I would recommend these pee pads to bunny parents. One outstanding quality of these pee pads is that they dry up super fast and I found it is most useful specially that my rabbit has sore hock condition on both his hind heels. A wet urine stain environment can worsen his sore hocks and cause infections, but with these pee pads I don’t have to worry about it because they dry up super fast in no time and because of the synthetic nature of the material I believe they are germ and bacteria resistant too. My rabbit likes these pee pads and I don’t have to train him to recognize what these are for, he knew it’s used as pee pad the instant I put it out for him. In the pictures you can see that he’s laying down on the area he peed before but it doesn’t felt wet or uncomfortable to him. I used these pee pads in combination with DIY cardboard litter boxes, I don’t have to wash the pee pads everyday since that they are drying fast and in fact my rabbit pees almost the same spot on it over and over again and I was like only need to wash it per week unless my rabbit pees everywhere on it which it rarely happened for short period of time, and I always have a spare clean one to replace the dirty ones. I can wait to wash them together when all the pee pads were used since they dry up fast that I can just simply fold the dirty ones and toss them in the laundry bins to wait for the rest pee pads all used up, as I said they seemed germs resistant to me. There are no damage if you wash and dry them in the correct temperature setting, as a matter of fact I tend to use slightly hotter temperatures to wash and dry them but so far they were hold up well to my cleaning abuse. So far I had purchased three different washable reusable pet pee pad, I would says its the strongest tearing resistant among the three, it’s most fast drying among peer products. It’s not the thickest among the brands I tried but I figure out that’s why they are superior fast drying and the surface never felt wet and make they very easy to wash. It’s not the thickest pee pad I ever owned but yet it’s super absorbent and never leaked even once since I used them from day one. However maybe waterproof materials like PVCs were used that this product do smell a little bit when they are new and if you stick your nose very close to sniff it. But the smell fades away with each wash and it never bothered me or my rabbit as an issue. I would say these pee pads were well crafted and its quality are very competitive to its peers, the only draw back is that they are slightly pricey compared to other washable pee pad products. If money is not your concern I would say this would be my first choice based on its qualities; if you are on a budget that I would still recommend this brand to you because it’s the most tearing resistant pee pads among all my collection and a little bit extra money is going to worth for the durability. I am not saying that it’s not breakable by your pets, it’s the strongest among three different products I tried. I give this product five stars and every penny was spent worth on it. I would recommend this to bunny parents if you are looking for washable reusable pee pads, hope my review is useful to you.

These are amazing! I bought them for my 18 year old dog who is having pee pee and poopy accidents on her sleeping mat daily. She refuses to do her business outside. I was using disposable pads with towels on top. That worked, but I was washing towels and throwing out pads twice a day. After going through 140 disposable pads, I decided to try these. They are completely absorbent. No wetness underneath. Because they have two layers, they're slightly heavy, so they stay in place on my dog's sleeping mat. I wash them in warm water and hang over my ironing board to dry. They're dry within a few hours. I've only been using them for a week so I can't report on durability, but they're holding their shape and the fabric is smooth and not pilling. Totally worth the money. This might gross some people out, but I think they're somewhat resistant to poop too. When I pick up her poop with a paper towel, I don't see a poop stain or residue. It was completely different with paper pads and towels. The pad is white but I can't even tell she pooped on it. So, unless she pees on it too, I wait to wash it another day. I'm aware that's not sanitary but if it doesn't smell or show any residue, it saves me from constant washing. Occasionally, she'll have a loose poop and I'll wash it immediately. I should win a prize for how many times I can use the word poop in a paragraph. :)

I have a dog that’s been pee pad trained since a puppy. He’s a Pom, and usually goes outside, but he will go on his pee pads if he really needs to. But then he had stones in his bladder. He had them twice and had two surgeries for them. But the second time and they found so much scare tissue from the last surgery in his bladder, they had to remove some of his bladder. So, now his bladder is smaller and he has to go more often. Since then, he will use pee pads more especially at night or if we are away too long. These washable pads are a life saver and so well made and wash up very nicely! I even throw them in the dryer and they come out looking like new every time. I was going through many disposable pee pads which are so expensive ( and going up in price all the time) and not good for the environment. So, I heard about reusable pee pads and researched and looked and liked these the best, so I bought them. Boy, I’m glad I did! I love the fact that they’re white, so I can see if there is blood in his urine! They look just like the disposable ones I buy, so my dog isn’t leery about using them at all. But that’s not the best of it! The pee goes away like. The more it sits, it gets like dry on the top again, and everything is held inside, and the top gets dry! He can pee over and over on it many times if we’re not home and if it sits long enough, it’s dry on the top for him again and not really wet. He doesn’t like getting his paws wet;-) AND there is no smell. The disposable ones do still smell if they sit at all, while these don’t! I was so surprised at all this, it was like magic! I bought a package of four and that was perfect for me, because I wash clothes often. And if you have a large dog that pees more, just put an extra rinse cycle on and you’ll be fine. I haven’t had my washer smell at all! But, boy this can save you some real money! Plus, your doing the environment a favor. I wish I knew about these years ago!!! If I could give this product 10 stars I would. Also, very fast shipping, too.

We have tried several pads for our dog who is getting old and cant hold it as long during the night anymore and will use these pads when she has to. The issues with the other pads we have tried from brands that claim to be 100% leak proof and lock in odors have failed miserably, they tend to leak through and wet the floor and smell up the whole house if not cared for immediately. I decided to try the "hospital version" of these type pads instead and after reading reviews as always before buying anything I figured I should give these a try, if they work for seniors and humans which in my mind should be able to handle a descent load of liquid without ruining a bed, it should work for my little Brussels Griffon, right? So we have now tried these pads for about a week and I am happy, it has so far held up to its promise of not leaking through the pads and is not stinking up the house if you don't tend to it directly after use. So I think we have finally found the pads we will stick to, and 6 pads for less or near the same price you normally pay for a 2 pack, no complaints from me. Should I find any issues after the first wash, I will update this, but so far all great. UPDATE; these pads have now been through a few wash cycles and we have noticed changes, after the first 5 wash cycles we started to notice that they wasn't leak proof anymore, it started to go through the pad just like the previous pads. After that they also started to smell, real bad and was no longer locking the odors of urine inside the pad, even after the wash they still manage to keep smelling no matter how much soap I use to clean it. So, we had a good run, or did we? we are back to our problem with leaky pads and still have to buy more disposables and just waste money and pads again, back to searching I guess, however, these was promising and great but for about 5 or 6 washes unfortunately, that removes a star.

Was looking for pads for a puppy that wets the bed sometimes when she sleeps. These pads do their job. Hospital quality for sure. If she has an accident all I have to do is was the pad. No more washing comforters, cleaning carpet, couches, etc.

These mats are FABULOUS!! We have two senior dogs who have issues holding their bladders, these have been a life saver! I don't understand the reviews saying that they aren't waterproof. We have had these for about two months, and they are still waterproof with daily washing. If you follow the washing instructions (wash in cold water, no fabric softener, dry on low heat) they should stay waterproof for some time. If you do not follow the instructions, the waterproofing will be removed and urine will soak through. I even recently bought another set so that I can rotate them out more frequently. Would definitely buy again and again!

I bought these for my 3 pounds morkie. The dimension are great and are really absorbant. Then my daugther bought an australian colley and at 4 months she weight 20 pounds. We are using these pads as training pad and for "failsafe" during days and night. It works ok but the quantity she is peeing is a bit too much for the pad and it sometimes goes right through. Otherwise these pad are great even after multiple washing (every other day) and are perfect for my little morkie.

Washed them at least 20x so far and they haven’t fallen apart…..good quality
