What is the fabric content of these socks? It is shameful it is not written in the description.

The label on the sock says 35% wool, 29% cotton and 36% polyester. Not sure where others are getting that they have no wool. They definitely do, but the sock is not scratchy.

Do these socks get holes in them after a few washes?

March 5, 2019. Purchased these in early Dec 2018, and use them intermittently. After a few washes they are holding up well in terms of material and comfort. No holes. They socks are "short" in terms of distance from heel to top of sock, I would have liked them to be higher on the ankle and calf. However, they did not shrink very much after washing. They are on the "small" size for a 5-8 sizing. Person wears an 8.5 and they fit OK, but snug. They are smaller/shorter than they look in the photo - since photo shows feet "standing on toe" the illusion is that the sock is longer than it actually is. I offer all that because they started out small, but seem to be holding up OK after a few washings (i.e., 2-3 months, 3 washings ---- five pairs, interchanging which color to wear on a given day. Definitely NOT wearing these socks every day so cannot speak to heavy wear and tear stability. Thank you.

Are these a tight elastic at the top, do they cut into your skin?

Not at all. I do not have skinny ankles and calves and they stay up nicely but do not cut into my skin at all. Highly recommend.

I didn’t get men’s. I got women’s sizes and the colors are on the feminine side. But they’re super cute and very cozy!

Socks are Nice...

These come vacuum packed for some reason!! Squishes the socks terribly!! Makes them look thin and cheap!! The fabric seems nice, actually, when you feel it. For the price, they are nice socks. Have to try and fluff up the socks as they are a gift! Really dumb packaging!!

Thinner then expected

Should have read the reviews. If you're looking for thick hiking socks, these are not it. I'm honestly a bit disappointed because I bought these before in a different color and those socks were super thick and warm. Other than that, the socks arrived on time, the colors were pretty accurate and they fit just fine. They are comfortable and will probably be good spring or fall socks but they definitely don't keep my feet warm like the previous ones I bought. Not bad just not what I was expecting.
