Chillkat Vintage Hotel Motel Keychain

This red plastic keyring is a fantastic little find, closely replicating those classic American motel key tags. It arrived in the UK remarkably quickly despite being dispatched from the US, and the quality impressed me straight away. The white text, including the room number and “DROP IN ANY MAILBOX — WE GUARANTEE POSTAGE” wording, is engraved into the plastic rather than simply printed on, so it feels built to last and unlikely to wear off any time soon. While it isn’t a strictly screen-accurate prop replica — the room key tags actually used in The Shining were of a simpler rectangular design — more accurate versions are available elsewhere if that’s what you’re after. That said, this is a fun, eye-catching and wonderfully retro collectible in its own right, and it’s sturdy enough for everyday use.

El llavero es muy bonito, excelente para fans de la serie Twin peaks. Es más grande de lo que imaginaba pero tiene buenos detalles. El cambio del grabado, como mencionan, se ha mejorado, dudo que se pueda borrar tan fácil con el tiempo. También es cómodo en el bolsillo.

The key chain is really great but the triangle link that holds the actual Bates Motel room key to the key chain has a space in it and the Bates Motel Key chain will fall off. Easy to fix just use a pair of plyers to close up the gap. Other than that it is a great conversation peace. Most people think that it is great.
