I bought this to use simply to weigh my entire apartment of furniture etc, for moving cost verification. Glad I did accurate and easy to use. I then donated it to the place I worked for their use. They're happy too and its still in use.

Well, it's kind of OK. As I feared, it was extremely lightweight when I opened it and I did not have good expectations. I was right. I do online sales and have lightweight and heavy things. It's been fairly accurate for shipping, but after a month or two the readout unit got squirrelly. If I touched the readout unit the whole thing fritzed out and had to reset. thankfully it only takes a few seconds, but every time I reposition something it happens again. I've tried different cables/cords, but the problem is in the display module. Also the wires are SO short you have no freedom of movement with it. The coiled cord hardly stretches out enough to get out from under large packages, and then BING! the screen goes out because it can't handle any tension. I'll give it 3 stars because at least it's still working, as long as I. am very gentle with it. I gotta say here, BUY AMERICAN on stuff like this. My old one was super tough and heavy. Then I cheaped out.
