What are Aftermarket Wheels?

Aftermarket wheels are custom wheels sold separately from the vehicle and not originally provided by the manufacturer. Most aftermarket wheel designs feature narrow holes for the lug nuts, requiring spline lug nuts and sockets.

Can I use Spline lug nuts on the wheels that came on it from the dealership (original equipment)?

Spline lug nuts should never be used on any original equipment wheels as they use unique lug styles for each brand and model. Spline lug nuts are designed specifically for aftermarket aluminum wheels, and using them on other wheel types is unsafe.

If the ConfirmedFit tool says these lug nuts fit my vehicle, why is the type of wheel I have important?

Are Spline lug nuts the same as Wheel Locks?

No. Spline lug nuts use a standardized socket (6-Spline) that can be purchased by anyone and aren't effective as security. Spline wheel locks are available in the DPAccessories store to add security to your aftermarket wheel and tire package.

If my Spline Socket tool is lost or damaged how do I purchase a replacement?

Great added security!

I used these in addition to a Gorilla wheel lock on each wheel. These look great and give an extra layer of security to deter criminals from stealing the wheels. A great product! Fit perfect! Easy to install!

Great Lug Kit!

Phenomenal, especially for the price! Look, here's the scoop : These are great lug nuts, people. But you have to have a functioning brain. These are for AFTERMARKET wheels, not your stock ones. It even says it specifically IN THE DESCRIPTION! Leaving lousy ratings because you're not smart enough to read the completely thorough description from the seller? That's a load of you-know-what. You get what you deserve. These lugs fit great, are really strong, priced very inexpensively, have plenty of room for the adapter tool, torque down easily with no slipping, and have a very tough coating on them. If you're not savvy enough to know what you're looking for, have someone else figure it out for you. Don't leave a low star review because you couldn't be bothered reading the product details. They're 5 star and well worth every penny.

Very nice fit and finish

After several years of off/on seasonal tire changes I managed to ding up my old lug nuts. Feeling like I needed a nicer look to my pickup I perused the many offerings. I chose these as somewhere along the way I think I've used this brand before. The fit is perfect. The finish withstood my tire shop's gorilla installer. Through the winter I detect no rust though the roads in my area are generously salted. Much cheaper than the tire shops proffered products. I'm happy.

Nice does not fit

these DO NOT fit a 2023 outlander as stated. outlander is built on a nissan rogue platform which uses M12x1.25mm wheel nuts and NOT M12x1.5mm wheel nuts. their mistake, not mine, and now I have to pay the return shipping.
