PAETA Pilates Reformer, 86" Foldable Reformer Pilates Machine with Adjustable Reformer Heights, Pilates Equipment with Music Wire Spings and Jump Boards

I'm happy with my recently purchased the PAETA Pilates Reformer (91" Foldable model). As someone who has not been practiced Pilates before, I was looking for a reformer that would provide a workout at home and the convenience of being space-saving. Pros: Foldable Design – One of the standout features for me is how easily the reformer folds for storage. My home gym space is limited, and the ability to fold it up when not in use is a game-changer. Adjustable Heights – The reformer’s adjustable height settings allow for a customizable workout. This is perfect for different exercises and users with varying preferences or body types. Sturdy Build and Piano Wire Springs – The quality of the materials is immediately evident. The piano wire springs provide excellent resistance and a smooth feel during every movement. I appreciate how durable and reliable the springs feel, giving me confidence during each session. Jump Board – The inclusion of a jump board adds an extra dimension to my workouts. It allows for high-intensity, cardio-style training that adds variety and challenge to my routine. Comfortable & Quiet – The padding on the machine is soft but firm enough for proper support during exercises. It’s also surprisingly quiet compared to other reformers I’ve used, which is great for working out without disturbing others in the house. Smooth, Easy Assembly – Setup was straightforward, and I was able to start using it in no time. All parts were well-packaged, and the instructions were clear. Cons: Size – At 91 inches, this is a pretty large piece of equipment, so while it folds for storage, you still need to have a decent amount of space to use it comfortably. Overall: It’s well-built, adjustable, and offers a variety of features.

Not totally quite a full 4/5 stars but I rounded up rather than down because overall it’s a good looking, sturdy machine, with a decent price point. Assembly: Mines came with instructions and was fairly easy to assemble. It folds up nicely with Velcro straps to secure it. If you are planning on using the stand, it can get tricky because the machine itself is not light. The stand is 7 parts that you put together before laying the reformer on top of. I’ve placed the reformer on top of the stand by myself but no don’t recommend it. It’s a 2 person job. With the stand, I find it at a good height. Bags are provided for storing the parts for the stand when it’s not in use, but the bag they gave for the long sides only fits 3/4 metal sticks… The risers on the back are on the basic/cheaper end, I need to check them before each use to ensure they are tighten properly. It flew off once while I was using it, but I think it could also be that I hadn’t ensure it was tight enough. I like that there are front and back platforms and am open to purchasing extenders for them if there was an option for it. Use: I have used this machine for 2 months before reviewing. Yes some of the springs can get loud but occasionally after I adjust them, the sound corrects themselves. At the beginning, the machine was super smooth, but more recently it started making a scraping sound when I use the carriage (like nails on a chalkboard) not pleasant and it is driving me insane. The sound comes and goes but it is very annoying. Both my husband and I have spent way too much time searching for the issue but can’t seem to fix it. I will probably reach out to the manufacturer at some point. I am personally happy I bought this reformer. I like the look and feel of it. With the prices that the studios in my area charges, I feel like I’ll get my monies worth from the machine purchase within a few months. As someone who went to class 6 days a week/2 times a day before kids, I like that I now have the flexibility of jumping on whatever I want, in the comfort of my own home. It sucks that I have to create my own lesson plans, but the internet and social media is full of inspiration. The kids love their mommy and me Pilates time, but being able to fold it up to safely store it away from those little hands is a huge plus. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a fancy expensive reformer, but at its core, it has everything I need to get in a good workout. I just hope to figure out the kinks. Update: their support team is 10/10 amazing. Quick reply and solution. So they get an additional star.

I took 158 Reformer Pilats classes in the last 12 months at Reformer Pilates in Arizona. I really wanted to have a reformer at home to do on my off days. I researched multiple products and reviews. Putting it together was one of my biggest fears. I am Terrible at it. Also I had so much experience on a master reformer that was large, quiet and most of all, SMOOTH and I didn’t want one that wasn’t very close to what I was used to. I went in person to test a reformer in my area that was for sale and had ropes instead of springs. I am so grateful that I was able to try it but after that test drive, I knew that I needed springs. So that helped me so much, I went through all of the reformers on Amazon, which is where I wanted to purchase because I didn’t have an way to really pick up a reformer. I decided that I wanted it to be under $1000 to make it worth it for me. So I put as many in my cart as I found that I thought might be good for me. My main things that I looked for were smoothness, quietness, And easy to put together. I read so many reviews and watched so many videos of the reformer being put together. What I loved about this reformer was that one it had spring and multiple weights, and it was able to take a lot of weight as well as being one of the longest Available. I am 5’7. This reformer had all of the three it had springs, it had length for a tall person and it had strength to hold a lot of weight. What I liked about the putting together video is, I was able to not use the riser in the beginning so that my daughter and I could get used to doing the standing leg work Without being so high up. This has been a game changer for us. I have not put together the riser yet because we are really really enjoying having it on the ground so that we are confident with our balance. This was so simple to put together and I am a wimp when it comes to putting things together. I have bought things that have sat Because I cannot deal with the instructions all the parts, etc. This one was so simple. Trust me if I can do it, you can do it. This machine is quiet. It is smooth and I like a lot of of the reformer even better than I like my super expensive reformer in my classes. Please trust me when I tell you this is the one get this machine. It is awesome.

A coworker recommended this machine and I’m glad I took her advice. My friend’s son assembled it by himself in under an hour. The cost of this machine is equal to what I was paying for two months membership at my Pilates club. It’s study and has everything you need for a full workout. The quality of the material is what you would expect for the price. It’s a good size for a home gym. It’s not overly large or heavy. I feel like I get the same quality of workout as do on the bigger reformer at my Pilates club. I gave it four stars because it’s not as easy to fold as advertised. In fact, it’s rather inconvenient to fold, you practically have to disassemble it. I tried once, but gave up half way through the process. One of the main reasons I bought this particular machine was for its ability to be folded. So, I’m disappointed in that area. Otherwise no complaints.

Honestly I spent hours researching an affordable Pilates machine that was decent & spring based and I am SO glad I got this one. The few reviews made me nervous at first but I have no regrets. I’m no Pilates snob but this machine definitely exceeded expectations for the price (I have taken a few classes). The metal is great quality & sturdy, acceptable amount of cushioning, and the carriage glides really smoothly. There is minimal noise with the springs- there will always be some type of noise when using springs in this sense. I haven’t used the footbar much and perhaps it’s not as sturdy in all the positioning but it hasn’t been a hindrance. It comes with raised platform that allows you to incorporate more exercises. I don’t store mine away but it doesn’t seem like too much work given the size of the machine. It was easy to put together- took maybe 20-30 minutes. Surprisingly customer service has been very responsive and helpful. I had a scrapping issue with my reformer during use, they responded to me with troubleshooting suggestions. Ultimately I wasn’t able to troubleshoot the issue so they are issuing me a new reformer so I’m definitely a happy customer and recommend this product/brand so far!

First of all, this shipped immediately and arrived 2 days early (nice surprise) I was worried that it might be heavy to get upstairs by myself or too hard to assemble. However, it comes 90% assembled and the pieces were easy to carry individually. I had it assembled all the way in under 15 minutes! I regularly attend Pilates classes and was unsure if an online, inexpensive reformer would meet my expectations. This EXCEEDED them! Overall excellent quality, very smooth (no annoying noise like other reviews said) headrest comes up and it has a sturdy wooden jump board with Velcro for extra support. Very smooth carriage and has metal springs. 9/10 only because I am used to the straps coming from the top of the wall, not lower- but I quickly got used to it. It’s very comfortable and has plenty of room for even my husband who is 6’2” to finally try Pilates! This brand is top notch. Looking forward to exploring their other products!

No more club fees for me! This reformer is well made. Quality materials. Arrived in box with damage but manufacturer packing kept the reformer from damage. If you know the workings of pilates reformer you will have no troubles with set up. Clean look. Rollers are in line skate type. Smooth movement along rail of reformer. No grove to get pinched or fill with dirt making for a jerky ride. Very pleased. Performs as CP reformers do. Worth the investment. Happy about the ability to work out on my schedule.

Like a pro. Glides like a professional one. Simple assembly. It was worth spending a few hundred dollars more to get the better model from the base one. Piano wires no rubber or cheap anything

I’ve looked at over 100 different reformers in all price ranges before settling on this one. It’s well-built and a fantastic option for at-home use. Easy to put together with 2 people and easy to store away. For functionality, it works exactly the same as a studio reformer with the same stability and tension. Packaged incredibly well. And as someone said, the plastic covering was screwed in. So if you’re OCD, you will need to remove the screws to get rid of the excess plastic left behind from ripping it off.
