Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Dogs - Liver Detox & Health, 2 oz

I bought this product in November after my Jack Russell terrier was diagnosed with elevated liver count levels. Sadly he was put to sleep eight weeks later. This product is not a miracle drug and will not care a dog with the damage, but what I did was buying us a few more weeks With our beloved Boy❤️. If I ever have the courage to own another pet, I will make this part of his daily supplement. Product was delivered very quickly and very easy to apply over his food or just drops in the mouth.

I bought this after my 2 elderly cats were diagnosed with 1 cat liver disease 1 cat kidney disease. The kidney disease was very bad and not a good outcome expected. I gave him this and the renal diet. Beginning in august. After 4 months his renal failure has reversed about 70% and he no longer needs the renal food. The other cat has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. I also gave him this and another herbal extract for general well being. This has helped him so much, he began playing and his energy level increased. It’s given me more time with him. In august the vet spoke about “ quality of life” and we made a plan. I thought he would be gone by now, but he’s still having many good days a few bad. I still keep a note of his well being as advised by the vet.

Since I have put my dog on this she has been a lot better, I looked at the reviews on this before I bought it and they seem to be great I was a bit sceptical at first but I thought I would try it anyway, I can honestly say she is a different dog she is eating well and running round like a puppy again, with her liver disease she was off her food and very lethargic what a difference this makes. I know its a bit pricey but well worth it, and us dog lovers would pay anything for our dogs health

easy to administer to our dog who wont take tablets even if crushed in food. No results as yet as to how our boy is dfoing on this but will be checked in 6 months

This product has changed my cat for the better she had really high liver enzymes, vet wanted to give her tablets but I thought I would give this a try. So far a week in her coat is silky and she used to be very irritable and bite and scratch this as all stopped it is wonderful to see my cat the way she's changed. Sure the vets don't recommend this for financial reasons my vet hadn't even heard of it but I'm taking her back for more blood work at end of 12 weeks and I'm pretty sure the liver enzyme levels will have gone down significantly. Give this a try if your cat as liver problems I'm sure you wouldn't regret it.

Over the years my dog has had fluctuating liver values and as she has got older (almost 13 yrs old), her values have been on the high side. A couple of years ago her liver values were considerably higher than previous years so I put her on this milk thistle, switched her food to lower fat variety (she’s been on raw since a puppy) and had her retested two or three weeks later and her liver values were normal. Going forward from 2 yrs ago, I have supplemented her food with Milk Thistle when she’s on a higher fat content meal for a couple of weeks, like beef. She had a blood just recently, December 23, 2021 and her liver values were normal. I started off with a small bottle of this brand that I purchased at a pet store and since Amazon has it in the large size (and cheaper to buy the large size) I’ve purchased a couple of large bottles so far on Amazon. Don’t know if it will work for your dog but it seems to work for mine. I have spoken to a few vets over these last few years and they do recommend milk thistle for high liver values. If you want to try it, maybe purchase a small bottle first to see if it helps your pet.

This stuff is an absolute lifesaver! LITERALLY! Our 11 year old girl beagle stopped eating her food so we took her to the vet. After spending 3 days in the vet hospital they were running tests and IV liquids thru her. Her liver was shutting down and she just wasn't doing well at all. Her eyes, ears and gums were yellow. They recommended the liver supplement pill Denamarin however she wouldn't take anything pills no matter what we wrapped them in. As a last resort we searched for a liquid liver supplement. This one along with a handful of other popped up on Amazon. You know the good old saying "you get what you pay for". Well in this case it couldn't be any more true. There were some for $20 and $30 but after reading the reviews on this one I figured well we just spent a fortune on vet bills what do we have to lose other than another $65. We have been giving her .5ml every morning for the past 2 weeks today and WOW!! After the first week she finally started gaining her appetite back. Then each day after that it gradually got better. 2 weeks in today and she is practically back to herself. Don't get me wrong this isn't making her liver 100% better however after seeing her eating like normal now and her eyes, ears and gums not looking as yellow we are very hopeful. It says on the description that it take 6-8 week for the full effect to work. Well I honestly couldn't be any happier with this product. I would pay double the price just because I am seeing such better results than when she was at the vets office. Thank you so much for making a quality brand product that truly shows amazing results. I have a sphynx cat that showed a high level on a liver enzyme; he did and allergic reaction to the medication prescribed by the veterinary. They recommended this product. I bought it and gave it to my cat twice a day and just last weekend we run bloodwork again and his levels are optimal. Thank you !

This product works , my 14 year old Cavoodle has cancer which is affecting his liver , with in a week of Max starting the Milk Thistle I noticed a big difference in him , his fits decreased, he was more active and the most important think he was way more happier, Its not going to cure his cancer but it will definitely help his symptoms and help his liver cope with the medication he has been started on to treat his cancer . He is my soul mate , and I recommend this product .
