It’s great to have in your car. These days ago my tire got punctured, and I had to borrow one from my neighbor. Really worked and saved me, now I have one in my car!

First of all, don't "over expect" for $23. I bought this replacing a 20 year old unit for which I probably paid $40. The Astro is not as heavy but seems decently made. I definitely like the features of a built in tire pressure gauge and automatic shutoff. The length of the cords is ample and unlike a couple of other reviewers I had no problems I experienced no problems attaching and detaching the unit to my tires. My only "possible" issue is with the tire gauge. It reads higher than my pocket gauge. For instance, my pocket gauge read a tire's pressure as 30 psi. I set the Astro to 33 and it didn't turn on because it was reading the tire's pressure as 33 psi. So it comes down to which gauge is correct. I plan to borrow a friend's gauge soon and test that against mine and the Astro. I will update this review afterwards. Even if the Astro is off, I can adjust accordingly. It is certainly well worth $23. ***UPDATE - 1 MONTH LATER*** I checked the unit's pressure reading against two pressure gauges. It confirmed that the unit was reading a pressure 3 lbs. higher than actual. Is this a deal breaker - no! The unit operates well and for the price I am totally satisfied with it. If I want to inflate a tire to 33 lbs. I just set the unit to 36 lbs. It inflates and then shuts off - every one/every thing is happy.

I highly recommend one of these in your vehicle for emergencies. Don't fall for those handheld cordless ones you see on social media. Those will only inflate 1-2 tires before depleting. You have unlimited power for the plugins and it will inflate at least 4x faster. The AstroAI is compact, lightweight and powerful for its price. Everything folds into its rectangular form factor for easy storage. The UI is simple and to the point. You can easily set the target pressure and it will auto stop. It's also a nice looking design with black and yellow which are common colors for power tools and emergency equipment. If I were being picky, the 2 minor cons that you'll find in other brands are: no option to plug into wall outlet & doesn't come with a case or bag.

Great portable air pump. Its helped me out multiple times during road trips. The size is perfect and compact does not take much space in the car. The length of cord is good too. And speed is great.

Unit works great ! I love the fact you can preset the psi. cut off ( I had to pump up some air shocks to 135 the unit did it with no problem ! )

This does function the way it says it will and is easy to use. I tried it on 2 of my tires and did not like how it did not come off of my valve stem easily, compared to one I have. Seems it could potentially lead to stem damage over time, and when one goes out, your tire, obviously will not hold air (from personal experience). I sent it back and ordered another of the same one I previously purchased which is perfect and want to have a spare...just in case I need to loan one out or whatever. I cannot recommend this since I know there are better, quieter ones.

These are handy to keep in your car for emergencies. Now that the weather is getting colder my tire pressure is going down on my car and I got tired of having to drive to a fas station and pay to put a bit of air in my tires (and often times those machines don't even work). I like design of this one with the always on light and the compartment on the back to store everything neatly. It is small and compact so it doesn't take much space to store in your car. It also comes with multiple attachments for various uses. I purchased this one as a gift for a white elephant gift for a family party coming up and hoping it will be a hit! With the great sale price it fit perfectly in the price range that was set.

I've purchased 2 of these so far, both of them have consistently worked well and are of good quality and high durability. The design is very compact and lightweight making it easily stored in glove compartment or your boot/trunk. The smart cut off feature is also very easy to use and helpful especially in the cold where you don't want to be waiting outside, the feature is also accurate (it doesn't stop short). The hose hasn't cracked on either of them so far through months of use, there's been no air leakage when topping up tyres either.
