Works well, I wrapped this around the bird feeder pole with self tapping screws and wire ties. The second night the raccoon didn’t get into the feeder. I did see a tuft of fur on one ofthepiints

Does NOT keep squirrels off bird feeders. They hang upside down to get to food!!

Bought these to wrap iur bird feeder poles after a snake got into one last year. The metal is thin and flexible. You can cut these into smaller pieces to meet the needs of your project with tin snips or a light grinder. Holes exist up and down each side so you can either nail them to wood flat like they come straight out of the box. Or... if you are wrapping a pole you can use small zip ties or wire to pull the two sides together as you wrap around the pole. Spike are very sharp. Only took me one time to realize gloves are a good isea.

I am happy that it arrived earlier than expected. I purchased this to avoid squirrels. I installed them around a pot where they had already started digging holes. The sharp tips are quite prickly, but it was not bad. I am hoping this will keep the squirrels away. I will update how it goes soon.

Completely useless product. I have 5 rows of this stuff with no bare trunk exposed all the way around my tree-mounted feeder on all sides, and squirrels simply walk right over top of it. Doesnt phase them at all.

Stainless steel so won’t rust. Very flexible so works in different configurations. Hard to install in a pole but works with zip ties. God quantities for the price. Recommend

They are easy to staple up, and help the squirrels to stay off the fence; but alas, the squirrels got around them by kinda just jumping through them. Install error, not product defect. Hopefully they won’t rust.
