Pride and prejudice is one of the most widely read novels.It continues to be popular even today because it explores the themes of marriage,wealth ,social interactions as well as self knowledge. The novel is one of the few romance novels that also is very intellectual. The lead characters undergo self improvement ,with Elizabeth able to overcome her 'prejudice' and Mr.Darcy his 'Pride' , and both are able to find happiness\contenment with each other, which is both emotional and intellectual. By the end of the novel both see each other as equals in their union, despite the differences in class and wealth. The novel is also sparkled with wit and delightful conversations between the characters which makes it a very engaging read . Definitely a must read for everyone!

Love it, love it, love it! Excellent book. It will keep you glued till the very end. You'll be left wanting for more by the time you finish this. Language can be a bit tricky, nothing a dictionary app cannot fix. The acrid language, piercing detail and the vivid picturization make this a worthwhile read. I'll probably read it again and again many times just for the pure joy of reading - there is something of nice and pleasant flow of her language.Now as for book and printing - very nice. The font used is Sabon instead of something ghastly like Times New Roman. Text size is quite comfortable. Paper quality is nice and has a smooth texture to it, although people accustomed to the bright off-white pages might be a bit disappointed at the not so bright pages. So my suggestion is to buy the penguin edition.

This piece of literature has become my absolute favourite! The way she paints her charactersand animates them for action is extremely engaging. It was like I never really wanted to leave the book untill I finished.And talking of the print quality it's incredible despite being a paperback.Now as I read papers on it new perspective are emerging which are rendering it even more colorful.

The Kindle version is easy to read, i dont remember seeing any odd or awkward pages. Such a great novel.

Pride and Prejudice is, of course, available in many, many editions. But if you want one with annotations that help clarify the text and with annoying errors from the original text silently corrected (but only where the errors are obvious), this is the one to go for. The Oxford World's Classics edition is another option, but I find the annotations poorly organized and their markers within the text poorly indicated (just asterisks, no numbers). This is true of many OWC editions. Some titles, notably those by Charles Dickens, do not even have the annotations indicated within the text, so you don't know that a particular passage has an accompanying annotation. Between Penguin and OWC, always go for Penguin.

Me gusta mucho la edición (Penguin nunca falla). El único problema que tuve (que no me molesta, en realidad) es que pedí un face wash al mismo tiempo y lo empacaron juntos en el mismo sobre. Les recomiendo que no pidan diferentes cosas junto con el libro para evitar el riesgo de daños. Mi copia llegó perfecta pero creo que fue pura suerte.
