These clippers have been a game changer! I cut my husband’s and my son’s hair and these clippers have made it so much easier and with a shaper cut. It’s so nice how they come in a nice plastic case that holds all the attachments and accessories. They don’t have any complaints when I use it. It seems to cut the hairs better than other clippers I’ve tried. I really like the color coded sized clips that are included. Helps me easily identify the size I need. It also came with scissors, comb and plastic cap. I love that it is made in the USA.

I've cut my hair only once so far but I was extremely impressed with it. My first time took me 30 minutes only because I was being careful but it worked great. My haircut looked pretty much the same as the fad cuts I get at the barber. I'm very thankful this product was made, it feels hefty and durable, not too hefty but feels of strong durability. I saw a youtube video of this product and when I saw how easy it was to cut your own hair I decided to give it a try and I'm very glad that I did. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has wanted to cut their own hair for a long time and is tired of paying for haircuts and spending the time as well to go get one.

I just did my very first DIY haircut at home with these clippers. I am very satisfied with the end result. However, as a complete beginner, I found the instructions sorely lacking, resulting in a frustrating and unnecessarily time consuming initial setup process. (Note - I'm an engineer) I elaborate below. ---------- Negatives ------------- After moistening my hair and clipping on a guard comb of the desired length, I began trying to cut some hair off, but all it did was pull on my hair ... very little hair actually came off. I tried adjusting the taper lever, without any luck. I tried the smallest guard comb, and no luck. Finally, I noticed that the clippers were not making much noise, which is when it dawned on me that they may not be getting enough power. So, I adjusted the power screw per the quick start guide. No luck. I wasted 20 minutes till I figured out the following. Power Screw (see quick start guide to find the screw) - Note that, out of the box, you *must* adjust the power screw on the clippers to get adequate power before the clippers will do any cutting. If this is not done, the clippers will make a mellow humming sound and will simply pull on your hair and not do any cutting. The instructions make it sound like this is an optional step. It is an absolute necessity ! Contrary to the instructions, the end of the cleaning brush is not sturdy enough to turn the power screw. You must use a wide flathead screwdriver. Also, the instructions tell you to first turn the screw clockwise and then turn counter-clockwise when you "hear clattering". This is nonsense. I tried this many times and I still didn't have adequate power. What worked for me is this - Keep turning the power screw clockwise till it is LOUD ... and I mean loud enough to scare a grown man and more than loud enough to annoy the person in an adjacent room. Then try cutting some hair off. If it comes off effortlessly without pulling, you have enough power. Then, try adjusting the screw counter-clockwise to reduce the noise level, but after every such adjustment, try to cut some hair ... if it no longer cuts hair, turn it clockwise again for more power. When you find the quietest setting that is powerful enough to cut hair without pulling it, you've reached the optimum setting for you. The provided cape is a joke, as many have noted. A large trash bag will do a better job. Finally, I would really like bigger size guard combs than the largest #8 (1 inch), because I often like to keep volume on top (2 inches) ... I would really like to see them include guard combs all the way to #16 (2 inches). I don't mind paying a little more. The #8 is suitable for short hair cuts, not for longer ones. ---------- Positives ------------- The machine itself, however, and the guard combs look sturdily built and did a great job ! I also liked the provided scissors and used them for a little touch up in areas the clipper found it hard to cut. The (larger) cleaning brush is very nice and effectively wipes away hair from the clipper and the guard combs. Overall, this is a very nice set for the money, and I'm confident it will last long enough to be a good investment. Just be patient and make sure to set it up properly prior to use.

I have owned a Wahl clipper for over 21 years, and I still have the manuals that came with it. It shown this model hair clipper, and now since it needs a new blade, I figured why not get a new one. This model comes with a lot of accessories, such as starting oil, 2 combs, cleaning brushes, hair clipper attachments, a case not the greatest, but it works, instructions or manuals if you prefer, scissors with protective sleeve, and even a poncho with brush to keep your hair off your clothes and neck. I have trusted the Wahl brand, cause they have been around for many years. One thing I had to learn is always pre oil the blades before use, so they will stay sharp and not dull out. As for the clipper, the weight is about a 2 pounds, and has a nice description on top that shows each attachment in different colors. Such as a #4 is Orange, and a #3 is blue for example. I like that about these attachments about this one, and makes it very much easier to find when looking for them. I really think this clipper is a great value for the money.

I've used Wahl haircutting clippers for decades. When my old one crossed the rainbow bridge I didn't hesitate for a second, I ordered a new Wahl! These new clippers are great! I've been using this exact clipper set for over 10 years so when my old clippers started to show their age I sprung for this set. Looks identical in design but I promise you it's not. This is NOT the old Wahl's that you've been using for years. This is garbage and it might burn down your house. First, the case it comes with is so flimsy that if you hold it with one hand it will bend over on itself and dump all the contents out. It's genuinely paper thin. I've used poster board with more structural integrity. Second, the combs and accessories are genuine garbage. The combs are so thin and flimsy I can bend it in half with 2 fingers like a straw. I still have the combs from my old set so I know what they are supposed to be like. You couldn't comb your hair with these fake combs if your life depended on it. Literally. Third, the guards don't fit on the clippers. They are either too big or too small. Some of the guards fall off immediately because they are too big, some of them won't fit on the clippers at all. One of the guards, the red one, is just big enough to clip on but as soon as you let go it pops back off. Fourth, the clippers themselves. I've got my old ones right beside this new one. The cheap feel is not just noticeable, it's severe. The old ones are sturdy and feel good while the new ones are barely even put together. Everywhere there's a seam I can push the plastic with my finger and it just comes apart. Ever had a key fob for your car that's worn out and won't stay together anymore? That is exactly what these clippers feel like. Cheap, flimsy, chinese garbage. Finally, the motor in the clippers. I decided to give them a shot and gave myself a buzzcut. Nothing extreme, nice and fast trim, been doing it since my military days so I'm proficient at it. The motor in the clippers got so hot it started burning my hand and I had to set it down and finish the trim with my clippers. After less than five minutes of use they were dangerously hot. Not warm, hot enough to make me set them down. I dare say if you leave these things turned on they will start a fire. I wouldn't use these to clip my dog let alone myself of my family. Wahls has fallen so far. What used to be a solid brand is clearly now nothing but cheaply made chinese trash. Folks, these are not your old Wahls so do not let the pictures trick you. It may look like your old clippers but I promise you they are not.

It's 110 Volts trimmer and not suitable for India. Despite using it with 110v to 220v Converter, its motor gone in the first use itself. No way to return and the Servicing centre don't accept it as it's not an Indian product. Total waste of money.

Excellent Quality of clipper. Guides plastic is of good quality and design. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this product.
