Is pool salt water comparable with the pump it comes with?

no you have to buy a saltwater conversion system and use it with the pump and filter this comes with but I will tell you it is well worth the investment. You get your money back the first year in not having to buy chemicals. We put ours up the first week in May and haven't had to add a thing to our water and it is crystal clear still. Absolutely will never go back to a chemical pool

Can this pool be kept up all year around?

We are in central Ohio. We do not drain, only remove the filter and saltwater system. We store it inside and cover the pool with a mesh winter cover. We take the cover off in the spring and it is crystal clear.

what is the dimension's of protective canopy for shade? does anyone have picture of it?

It covers about 1/3rd of the pool I can’t upload a pic for some reason. But if out on one end reaches all three sides of that helps
