Update 2: Got the second set of glasses and they are very nice. They do have a few bubbles, but this is to be expected in hand blown glass. All bubbles are very small, and unlike the first set, most are in the thick bottom part, so will not affect the glass strength. Unless you are shining strong light directly onto the glass, bubbles are not noticeable. Glasses are very well designed, elegant, sturdy and easy to hold in the hand. They are also large enough to fit oversized ice cubes for a killer look that is sure to impress your friends when serving them a scotch or old fashioned. I am bumping the rating to five stars for the end product and the fantastic service from Mofado. Update 1: Problems slip through quality control, stuff happens, but when it does Mofado goes above and beyond to help their customers. Literally within 5 minutes Mofado had addressed the issue more than satisfactorily. Will be getting new ones. Bumped up the star rating from 2 to 4 because of the amazing customer service. If the new ones are good, will increase to 5. Original review: I had very high hopes for these glasses from reading the reviews. They were exactly what I was looking for. It appears however that the quality control has taken a nose dive. The glasses I got are of subpar quality. First, they are not the same. One barely has the "dent" on the bottom (barely a shallow dome) while the other looks more like the amazon product pictures. One glass also has a large bubble as well as a chip (looks like a burst bubble) near the rim. I bought them as a Christmas gift on amazon.com from Canada. Now I probably need to start my Christmas shopping all over again. Very disappointing.

I've used the glasses on several occasions since receiving them, I enjoy them greatly. They carry some weight and have a bit of girth, which may be uncomfortable to some with smaller hands, but I personally enjoy the feel of it. They work great with some re-usable freezer stones I also bought and give me plenty of space in the glass. It has a very simple and elegant appearance. I haven't actually been using it for anything formal, I just enjoy using them at home after a busy day. The only flaw I've noticed is a small bubble in the base of one of the glasses, nothing major for my purpose, but if I really wanted to be formal then that would be a blemish noticed with a close look. Overall, great glasses and I enjoy using them.

When I initially ordered this set, one of them arrived with a tiny bubble at the bottom (not a functional issue, merely an aesthetic issue). After I reached out to customer support, they immediately remediated the issue by shipping me replacements. They were also friendly with their response to my request. Good quality set, the bottom of the glass is thick and heavy which feels good to hold and adds good balance. The design is also very aesthetic. Only thing I can think of that would not fit everyone's taste is if anyone prefers smaller whiskey glasses. I'm 5'7 and the glasses are still fine to hold for me. I use these whenever I have my drinks on the rocks or if I'm having an Old Fashioned.

These glasses I got for my dad as a gift and he loved them. They have a really awesome appearance to them and are super awesome looking. They are just his style and are heavier than a normal glass which is fine for him because he’s a bigger guy. They are fine to go in the dishwasher, but for sake of longevity and them being his favorite glass, we normally hand wash them. No one gets to use them but him (

I just received these in the mail: First thought: Packaging on the outside looks decent; something you'd find on a shelf at Target or Costco. Inside, not so much. That annoying styrofoam that breaks up into tiny bits with the slightest touch is not very fun to remove or is in any way appealing to look at. Second thought: The glasses themselves have a great weight to them! They are very easy to hold and have a very wide mouth for drinking. That being said... The only complaints I have after washing both glasses; there are tiny air bubbles at the bottom. Not very many; maybe 3-4 on each glass but the fact that they cost almost $30 for a set of 2 is kind of absurd. I would still gift these to friends/family if you do not mind that small defect. Final opinion: If you don't mind that small air bubble defect (it's honestly not that bad; very similar to the issue that was already photographed and posted here although the bubbles present in my glasses aren't as abundant) they are worth the purchase. These get a solid 4/5 from me. 4/5 in appearance (air bubble issue/crystal looks great after it's washed!) 5/5 in feel and weight (very sturdy, highly unlikely to tip over) 4/5 in packaging (outside looks fine; inside? Have fun with the styrofoam blizzard inside, haha.

I ordered this product before and the 4 bourbon glasses I received were fine. A year later, I ordered another set, but this time around, I received one of the glasses with chipped rim. Moreover, I noticed that the glasses I received this time are shorter, thinner, and lighter than the first batch that I received previous year. That said, the new batch I received are - crystal - old fashioned glasses, unlike the previous batch that I ordered. Also, there is a slight color difference between the glasses from the previous batch (which weren’t crystal) vs the ones that I just received which are colorless which I absolutely prefer. After my initial review indicating that I received one of the glasses with chipped rim, manufacturer reached out to me right away and then, sent me another set of 4 crystal glasses very quickly. I received them and they are flawless! Although initially I was disappointed, I was very happy in the end because of their quick responsiveness and turnaround to fix the issue - which was quite impressive and rewarding! These are great crystal glasses for enjoying bourbon, old fashioned, etc. I will certainly order more from them as needed in the future.

Let me open by saying this product is everything I hoped it would be. It is a substantial piece of glassware that handsomely reflects the premium price you pay to acquire it. Fill it with crystal clear hand-made ice, a high quality bourbon and all it needs is a big fat old Havana cigar to make you feel like Winston Churchill reviewing the British fleet. But therein lies the problem. The glass stands 3.875 inches tall with a 3.375 inch diameter and holds 12.5 ounces of liquid. Pour a cocktail into this ice-filled wonder and your talking about a hefty 27.5 ounce lift to quench your thirst. That’s almost one and three quarter pounds! Now you would think that this not a problem but the bottom is round and the smooth sides are straight without a crystal cut to give it purchase. Sit on the quarterdeck, let your cocktail sweat a little in the summer sun and lifting this glass is a real problem. The circumference is large enough that you feel two hands may be required to take a sip. You might even have to put down your cigar to toast the Queen. How embarrassing!

When the glasses arrived the outside packaging was undamaged and the inside packaging from the manufacturer was undamaged but one of the glasses was in a million pieces. I contacted the manufacturer and while it took a couple days for a reply they eventually sent me not one replacement glass but an entire set of four glasses. They were very responsive and checked on me periodically to make sure I was getting my replacement and did a great job! I would recommend this company that backs up their product! The glasses are beautiful!

I’m very satisfied with the glasses. It’s Crystal clear and did not show any discolouration in the dishwasher. Other other glasses, this one does not have any bubbles and looks amazing. Only thing I would change, is to have a flat bottom instead of a curved one.
