Breathable Honeycomb Gel Seat Cushion, Pressure Relief Cushion Long Sitting

I started having some sciatica issues from sitting at my desk all day long so I decided to buy a cushion for my chair. However, most of the ones out there in the market are too small for my chair and me since I’m 6’4”. Therefore, I did a lot of research looking for a large, thick seat cushion, and this one fit the bill just perfectly. It is thick, heavy, and appears to be very well made. My only complaint would be that because the cushion is basically rectangular and not extremely contoured and because I tend to lean back and slouch down in my chair, I can sometimes feel the back of the cushion starting to roll forward under me. However, it doesn’t actually slide off of the chair or anything. Some of the less rectangular and more contoured cushions out there actually change your posture so that this doesn’t happen. I bought 3 other cushions of differing brands when I bought this one, but this was the only gel cushion of the group. I was planning on only keeping the one that I liked the most, but I like all of them for different reasons, and now I cannot decide which I like the best so I’ll probably end up keeping all 4 of them. If you’re someone who doesn’t like getting all sweaty in your chair, then this is probably the cushion for you. The gel material and the honeycomb design makes it cooler than any of the regular foam cushions.

I Can't be without it, this cushion has become a MUST have for work! I'm an AEMT and former Army, believe me when I say my back is bad... its awful. I have arthritic changes, a blown out disc (S5) and 3 herniated all in my lower lumbar. I can't drive the ambulance for 12-24 hours and still be able too walk, without it. Not only does it almost completely eliminate my back pain, it gives me enough boost to see more comfortably over the dash. Most of the seats are pretty broken down in our trucks! I don't work without this seat cushion, I call it my booster seat, and really it's my back saver. My husband is a truck driver and I've just ordered one for him and I guarantee he's going to love it! The cover on mine is wearing out, so at some point I'm gonna need a new cover 😆. Buy it, your back will thank you. It's well worth the teasing I get at work, for carrying it out to my truck every day! If they were smart, they would get their own "booster seats" and save themselves from back problems down the road!

Totally accurate description. I especially liked that it was contouring instead of just a rectangle. Cover easilybremovavle for cleaning the gel pad inside. Would have been ab5, but after i removed the cover for the first time, the zipper broke. I'll live with it, but there really should have been a sturdier zipper on this otherwise quality product.

Not super comfortable for long term sitting. I had higher expectations for it and for the price I just wouldn't recommend. It definitely helps short term, around an hour or so, but if you want something for regular use I wouldn't recommend it.

I spend several hours a day at my computer and after several years, my really nice Serta Office Chair was no longer comfortable on my bottom. My wife bought a nice flat pad on Amazon, but after a couple months it lost it's cushioning. In my late 70's I don't want to buy and a new expensive office chair, so I looked at many cushions on Amazon. Soooo many to choose from and all claim to be great with many features or "Recommended by xxx" or "Top Seller" or "Amazon Choice" and “Great Reviews”. I don’t want “Hype” or funky claims, just real facts. I'm 6'2" and 270# so I really need a big, wide and thick pad plus a contoured pad would be better than flat. I don't have issues with my tail bone, back or pelvis, just couldn't sit more than 30 to 60 minutes with or without the pad my wife bought. I looked at many and sorted out the fluff. Now I've had the 19.7" Gel Seat Cushion by Rapiro for 2 full months and so happy I bought it. At first I was concerned about the high ‘Hip Sculpting” places because they didn’t quite fit my bottom, but after the week I don’t even notice them anymore. It stays in place on my chair and stays cool, a plus for me. It is very comfortable and has maintained it’s shape. Now I can sit for several hours and no longer have a sore bottom. It’s so comfortable I had set an alarm to get up once in awhile and not be so inactive.

I am 64 yrs old, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and 6 months ago I had to have the entire lumbar section of my back from L2toS1fused together and to top that, for ten and a half hours a day I just went back to work riding on a Special Needs School Bus as an attendant. I bought a 3 1/2 inch Memory foam seat cushion I thought would work, but it was next to having nothing, every bump jarred my back as bad as the first. Out of desperation I ordered this Gel Seat Cushion and I tried it and will never go back to memory foam again. If I could give this Gel Cushion a 10 out of 10 rating I would. It’s like having air ride suspension. Quality is #1, cost is very affordable. Worth 3 times the price I paid. I will be ordering several more of these Gel Seat Cushions. They are worth having several around.

Best cushion for long sitting I have ever tried. I have gone through half a dozen or more seat cushions trying to find one that gives both lower back pain support and is comfortable for those with less padding of their own. The great price was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a seat cushion that molds to your body type.

I recently had a total hip replacement surgery and have a lot of pain in my glutes during this healing period and my therapy. This pad is absolutely the best for relieving the pain. I ordered the extra large because I am a bit wide in the beam and I wanted the cushion to completely surround my hips. I borrowed one but it was really hard even though it had cut outs that was supposed to relieve the glute pain. It was a guy that lent it to me. It didn’t help one bit. It put more pressure on my glutes because it was so hard and the cut outs didn’t match my glutes. This thing is heaven. This will help when I drive too because the ridge on the edge of the seat puts pressure on my incision. The pad will raise me up and beyond the ridge. I have a lateral incision.
