Epica Dog and Cat Nail Clippers, Claw Trimmer, Safety Guard, Easy & Safe

Fantastic clippers. I have 2 bulldogs that run and hide when they see the clippers come out. One of them has Large Toenails and the normal clippers don't work. With the help of some peanut butter, I was able to clip his nails in about 15 seconds per paw. They are razor sharp and do the job. Just confused on the "distance stopper" on the back. It's locked in and when I moved it, not to go to deep, it loosed up. I'll figure it out. The Large size is perfect and the grip is fantastic. They are very well made, not cheap. Literally half the price and twice the quality of store bought. Highly Recommended

I always hated clipping my dog's nails but this clipper makes it so much easier! They are very strong and cut right through. I have a very large dog (about 82 lbs) and these are perfect.

Love these there great for bigger dogs! I love that it has the little guard in the back. Downside is that the guard is HARD ASF to move. Another down side is if you’re not careful you can really hurt yourself with these. They work great there sharp and exactly what I’ve been looking for . I did hurt myself earlier while clipping my babies nails. And this isn’t the first time I’ve done it, it’s probably me but when your clipping their nails the way you hold it has to be a certain way or you will pinch you hand and it’s not a soft pinch lol!

I have 2 very hard to trim dogs, a Rottweiler and a Frenchton. These trimmers made it so much easier. My girls are actually letting me trim toe nails with no problem.

Sharp and sturdy. Does my big dog's nails easily without cracking/splitting the nail. Don't know if it will stay Sharp enough after multiple uses. Good price

Works great, highly recommend using the guard on black nails. We have an 80+ lb dog with hard nails and we can trim her paws in less than 1 minute now.

We have a 2 year old rescued Plott Hound (similar to a Lab. in context of nail similarities). Our Plott wasn't trained early on about the whole nail clipping deal, so - needless to say - we needed a clipper that would allow a smooth transition into the nail shortening event. We first started by taking our Plott to the local pet store (at 10.00 a shot....that adds up) to get him used to the concept We've tried a number of clippers, but the Epica has been, as stated, the best yet. The cutter head is large in diameter, which better accommodates the thicker nails. The clipper is super sharp; if you have spent any time trying to cut your dogs' nails (thick or thin) it is crucial to be able to clip the nail, without too much effort. A dull clipper leads to pulling or fighting to get through the nail, which the dog immediately picks up on, even if it is a patient companion. A dull clipper can slip off the end of a nail, leading to more attempts and reluctance by the dog, as well as you, the user, and our dog would pull away if too much work involved (I know, I know, "if you get your dog used to it, properly, the dog will just lie there".......yes, ideally, but if it doesn't.....well, we found this one to be good for the rookie or the "perfect pet owner"). Another positive is how far open the clipper head goes - very helpful to avoid a thick nail, mostly due to the visibility it offers. The handle is super comfortable as well, fits our hands perfectly. The rubber handle is nicer than the typical plastic we have used. We have also experienced other clippers (one Oster one popular one model in particular) which, after each clip on the nail, the lock mechanism closed; we have been forced to use this only on our small Yourkie. Prior to switching to the Epica clipper we had to hold the lock mechanism in place with our thumb while making each cut - royal pain because it affects the way you clip the nail (awkward). The clipper offers the same clipping guide, which you can move out of the way - and it stays out the way - not true with the others we've tried. Time will tell on how long it remains sharp and comfortable, but so far - - - no problem giving this a FIVE STAR satisfaction.

Easy to use, does what it promises. The quality of the Nail Clipper is high: solid, and strong. I think this may be the only Clipper anyone ever has to buy.

I expected better quality for this price. Not so sharp. When trimming claws, artifacts remain. I don't know why are there so many such wonderful reviews about this item. Unnecessary sounds and a feeling that there are burrs on the metal during work, imperfect smoothness of the sliding blades, There's a crunching sound when the spring is working
