Handhelf is a good idea, design needs improvement.
Handheld works ok ... used to stitch car panels together .. which are about 1/16" ... so it BLEW HOLES .. but saved a trip to the body shop. at 100A it can be used from car batteries in the field off the back of the truck for fencing etc .. the .30 GS wire is junk as it's gets very porous on stacking layers .. used E71T-11 flux for stacking seams. Small enough to keep in the car and pack inside the welding helmet with gloves. I keep it inside of an airtight bag so I don't have to take the wire out.... always ready 4 work. Overall its not a bad unit, of course it's too overpriced at $95. Around $50 would be a good value. CON: bottom base is somewhat skinny, not getting wider for stability .. it has trouble standing up, wants to fall over as the spool makes it top heavy. Will have to attach a wider base to make it stand up ..
