It gives an extra 3 inches on the ram, splits the log from both ends, so doubles the ram load

Great machine had a five ton one before, this is so much more power. Only fault is wheels on stand is not up to job, and metal around ram to hold log in position to light

expensive for what it actually is . a big screw with a plastic top that clamps to the ram rail. does the job but how long it will last ???
