I was drawn to the tube, as it's a pretty pink and I like to use attractive lipstick tubes. I purchased both the berry and warm carrot. Each which is packed well and came in their own little plastic sealed box. If you wanted to give one to a friend, unopened, you can. This is a nice lip balm with a moisturizing feel. No noticeable scent, and when I put it on, It leaves a nice pink tint on the lips that lasts through a little eating and drinking meaning, it's lower maintenance for reapplication than a lipstick cream, which is nice. It's true to the science behind color changing lipsticks, so the tint of either the berry or orange (warm carrot - cute name) shade can be varying degrees of pink on the lips, depending on your skin's individual pH and moisture levels. Had to remove from plastic case to use dial to expose product. Goes on ok, but very short lasting. Case makes it bigger than I’d like for in my purse or pocket
