CS18 Sapphire Metal Nail File for Natural Nails Fingernail and Toenail Care, 7" Double Sided Coarse and Fine for Manicure and Pedicure

I have been looking for a nail file like this. I have bought the ceramic ones and the emory boards. Emory boards don't last long and they go in the trash too quick. Ceramic are okay but I can't get under my nails with the tip and I feel I can't get the edges smoothed right. This is perfect to fix all of those issues. I had nail files like this years ago and they literally lasted years. So happy to find these and to make the purchase! I like the two different grits as well which is an added feature my older ones did not have. I recommend these nail files. I bought two, one by TV and one for bathroom!

Nice file, but a little flimsy for a man. Bends too easily.

File has a coarse side and a finer side. Coarse side is on label side, but I also added a drop of red lacquer fingernail polish to the coarse side near the handle to easily identify heavier grit. I have used both sides successfully for my hardened toenails. No more bleeding caused by nippers. Washes easily in hot water. Natural fingernails only require finer grit side. Highly recommend this product.

I have done my own nails for years, and prefer the metal nail files when I am manicuring my natural nails. This nail file is adequate, however, it is thin and bends when filing with any pressure. I still use it, but find that I continue to reach for other files instead of this one, when shaping my nails.

This file makes quick work of smoothing/rounding out nails, without the aggravation and mess that emery boards create. The coarse side cuts quickly, and the finer side smooths things out. Some commenters remarked that it might be too coarse and fast cutting, but that's what I wanted. I'm a "seasoned citizen", (and crabby old man) and don't need to fine-tune my nails. For me, it's a tool, and as that, it works great.

I have had a German nail file for many years and finally just about wore it out so I ordered this new one and it is just as nice. You can’t beat the quality that Germans put into their workmanship.
