Want to go "NO PLASTIC"? This is a WAY cheaper way to "SIMPLY" make "COFFEE"
Another company is marketing their pour-over system (that is VERY similar to a Moccamaster) that is "no plastic" for $400. Just buy this. Less pretentious. As effective. Makes great coffee. And looks like something your Grandparents (or GREAT grandparents) would have had back in the day. The coffee is done in 10 minutes, and HOT AF. Rinse it out, throw the bits in the dishwasher (if you want) and you're done.

Plastic free is a good feeling
We love this percolator! Wanted to get away from plastic. But we never imagined the coffee that we usually drink tasting any better than it had. We use less coffee and the flavor is amazing. It takes up less space on the countertop. The coffee stays hot. My husband usually drinks the 1st cup while I work out and it’s still plenty nice when I go to get my cup. This isn’t any messier than my big drip coffee maker.

Smaller footprint on Countertops /coffee doesn't go through any plastic parts!
After years of using automatic drip coffee makers, I wasn't sure what to expect from this percolator but liked the fact it was free from almost all plastic, and those pieces don't touch the coffee in the making at all, so I was excited to try it out. First, it does take a little longer to brew a pot but not by much, maybe a minute or two, and the coffee was great. It stays hot longer than any automatic coffee maker I've ever had. I'm the only one drinking coffee in the mornings so the smaller pot size works fine for me. The instructions left much to be desired with no illustrations or clue about daily care and cleaning, but it does tell you how to clean the lime build up that happens over time. I do wish the spout was a little longer, but it takes up less space on my kitchen counter and looks great. My main complaint is the clean-up isn't as easy as an automatic drip because the liners, when/if you can find them, don't come up the sides of the basket so even if you have a liner, you are still going to have coffee grounds to deal with and yes some will end up in your coffee. For me it's a small price to pay for coffee that's free from going through plastic parts and I can recycle the grounds. Overall, I really like the look of this coffee pot and would buy it again!

Great convenient percolator
This is a good percolator. Works well, easy to clean. With pot turned on, it immediately starts heating as soon as you put it on the base. It is convenient for making coffee then bringing the pot to the table, setting it right onto the table.

Well made and good looking
We decided to go back to the old way of making coffee. This is a nice brewer. Good looking and well built. The only problem we had was we could not read the water marker which is on the inside of the pot. This is no fault of the pot. We are an elderly couple and our eye sight is not what it use to be. We returned it and received our refund promptly.

Still working well after 8 months of daily use
I waited to write a review until I used it for a while. I bought this in January 2026. We have used it almost everyday for the last eight months and have had a totally different experience than the one star reviews. Maybe the quality control is not the same for all the percolators. I love the fact that the charging socket is on the bottom so I don't have to worry about getting water into it when washing. I did worry that the base it sits on to power it would stop working, but that has been a non issue. I think the clicking sound it makes when left on after percolating is to keep coffee hot which it does! I can drink coffee right away after using a drip coffee maker, but this comes out and stays extremely hot when left on the unit so that I can't drink it right away (and I have what my family calls "a steel mouth"). A downside might be that if your expecting it to be totally stainless steel, which I was, I think the indent for the percolating basket and where the electricity is coming from is plastic. By the way, I tried a glass percolator which had no inside plastic, but it had the heating element on the side and seemed way too fragile. I didn't realize how much I missed percolated coffee for its richness so I am permanently going back to a percolator unless I need a quick cup of coffee in which case I use the Keurig-type machine.

Nope :’(
Update: After just a month and a few days, this percolator died. Flat out didn’t perk. I really loved the coffee that came out of it, and even more the nostalgia factor. I won’t lie. I am so tempted to try again but the risk seems a little more than I want. I wish I had been one of the lucky purchasers. There is a coated surface over the heating element which is not metal, unfortunately. However, after a good deal of searching, it had the least non metal of the electric units. The coffee is hot and I can’t deny that I really love the glass top knob that allows you to see the coffee perking. A very pretty appliance and the coffee comes out great.
