The color is phenomenal! The function, however, not so much. Wherever you place it has to be crazy quiet to even begin to hear what the person on the other end of the line is saying. And that person on the other end? Same thing. Ridiculously difficult to hear! I hate thinking that I could have paid a fraction of the cost for a less aesthetic phone and received more functionality; especially when we are now having to consider just that. Kids are still enjoying it though and trying to make the best of an unironic, "can you hear me now?" type of conversation. Update! The call quality is only worsening as time goes on and so I took off another star. It's only been a month and we are regretting this pricey purchase more and more. It's a bummer but we are already looking for a replacement.

Came next day. Quality phone, very happy. Ringer is great, sounds just like the old time ring, call quality loud and clear, basically normal as one would expect. Hooked up to an answering machine, all is great!

Very nice and works well. Has a nostalgic feel to it although i remember it heavier when i was a kid/teens.

Bought in July. By November, the microphone stopped working. Sound is not clear either due to static. Very poor quality for the price. Didn’t last long.

Loving the old style ringtone and the weight of the handset, feels solid. Voice quality is good but I have not found a volume adjustment function, which would be good to have.

This phone is beautiful and fully functional replica of the old mechanical rotary dial phones from the 1980s and earlier. I remember them from my childhood. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter in lieu of a "screen". She was thrilled with it. Voice and audio quality is very high. Noticeably higher than your average mobile phone. The ringer is mechanical and absolutely delightful. The rotary dialer is fully functional and the only means of dialing. After the rotary wheel has returned to zero, the phone converts the pulses to a tone; so for example, after dialing "4" you will hear the common "4" tone emitted by the phone. This is so that modern landline infrastructure will identify the intended number. (Straight pulse doesn't work anymore). Overall am very happy with the purchase. It came in nice modern european style packaging. This is a high quality product. I believe the company is German.

I was browsing around and ended up choosing the phone from a German company. The phone was new, nice and worked well. However, when I dialed, the feeling I got was not like I dialed my old phone I have lost so I decided to return it. The return process was simple, I got the money back right after I told them I have sent the item back. They covered my return shipping fee as well. I did not have chance to use their product longer, just because it is not the phone I used to have, but their customer service was awesome! That is why I chose a German company to buy the phone (even though the price was a bit higher than some others). Thank you anyway!
