Brooks Women’s Ghost 16 Neutral Running Shoe

I bought Brooks sneakers for women for my planner fasciitis heal pain. They were recommended by my foot doctor as well as a physical therapist friend of mine. I bought them at the end of January 2026 and it's now March 5th 2026 so I've been wearing them a little more than a month now. I have also been wearing compression socks since around Christmas 2025. I went to the foot doctor in December of 2025 and he performed some sort of ultrasound treatment on my heel. The pain went away by the end of the visit / treatment. Two days later the pain came back. After my visit I stopped walking on my treadmill for about a month but that did not help the pain. I continue to wear the compression socks everyday but not to bed just during the day. The pain was still there. This is day 8 now that I have no foot pain. I believe that is all due to the Brooks sneakers. They have an orthopedic insert built in the sneaker that keeps the arch lifted so it's not collapsing and causing pain. I still wear my compression socks everyday. I would recommend fascia fix compression socks. They're a little pricey and they don't come in a two pack you have to buy them separately and I believe they're about $16 a piece. Trust me though it's worth it! I only need it for my right foot but I didn't want to take any chances that the same thing would happen to my left foot. So just give the sneakers a little time to work. Don't return them after a week because you feel they're not working you have to give them some time. I am back walking on my treadmill with no foot pain. I started out walking a mile because I was scared but now I'm up to 2 miles and I'm not waking up with foot pain so I'm so happy. Good luck!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent work shoes for long days on your feetI’ve been wearing different Brooks shoe models for about 10 years, and they continue to be my go-to work shoes. This pair has been one of my favorites.I was worried the light color would get dirty quickly, but they’ve held up much better than I expected and clean up surprisingly well.The traction is excellent, and they’ve provided great support for long shifts. As a CRNA, I’m on my feet most of the day, and these have been incredibly comfortable from start to finish. One of the biggest benefits for me is that they’ve helped keep my plantar fasciitis from flaring up, which is a huge win.If you spend all day standing or walking, I highly recommend these shoes. They’re comfortable, supportive, durable, and have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy them again.

I’m a Brooks Ghost girl all the way, and so is my daughter. These are super comfortable for my flat feet and always look great. They’re definitely worth the money and provide my feet with the firm support they need to be on my feet all day. They run true to size and are a bit wider than some other brands which is great because my feet are also a tad bit wider. They’re not wide enough for a wide though. Ghosts are breathable, but the extra material that helps them last longer also stops them from breathing as well as a lighter shoe.

I’ve learned that when it comes to shoes, especially ones I’m going to wear frequently, I’d rather invest in one good pair than keep buying less expensive sneakers that I don’t find as comfortable.The Brooks Ghost Weatherized have been a great choice for me. They feel cushioned and supportive, but they don’t feel overly heavy on my feet. I also really like having the weatherized version for days when the weather isn’t ideal.Another plus is the neutral color. They’re easy to wear with leggings, jeans, joggers, or casual everyday outfits, so I can get a lot of use out of them.They are definitely an investment compared with some sneakers, but comfort is one area where I personally think spending a little more can be worth it. If you’re on your feet a lot or simply want a comfortable everyday sneaker, I think these are worth considering.

Although I returned these I did so hesitantantly. They were so comfy but alas they were too small. I LOVE Brooks Ghost shoes. Actually all Brooks are amazing but my favorite is the ghost series. These 16s differ from the 15s in the width of the toe box. They are more narrow, so for those with wide feet like myself these shoes probably aren't for you. I would highly suggest you look at the ghost 15s however! I kid you not they saved me from excruciating pain. I work in food service and I would be in tears halfway through my work day. By the time I got off I would be limping and miserable. I tried so many other shoes and nothing helped! Until I found Brooks. The ghost 15s could not be more comfortable! They are like walking on a cloud. They have great arch support, a mesh top which makes them less constrictive and more breathable than others shoes. They are hands down the best shoes I have tried. If you are considering purchasing them just do it! I promise you won't be disappointed! Especially if you've been in pain and need a shoe to help relieve it. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 wide and with the ghost 15s I purchased a 9 wide and they fit perfectly. The 9 wide ghost 16s were too narrow.

This was my shoe through nursing school and after two years of constant wear, year, and innumerable amounts of washes in the washing machine, the shoes still look BRAND NEW!! I wore these shoes to my nursing Nightingale pinning and I wore them to graduation as a joke. I swore I slept in these shoes because I had to get up so early in the morning to be at clinicals! If that does not tell you how GREAT these shoes are, I'll tell you more...The color is all white and that's perfect for nursing school. I have high arches so I need good support. The arch support is amazing. After 10 hours of clinicals and class my feet did not hurt. My brain hurt, but my feet did not! The stability is great. I never felt like I would slip in a puddle of spilled urine. They are highly wearable and stretch and flex with my feet. The toe box is wide enough and I have wide feet. I had to buy a medium width because wide was not available. I was worried that they would not fit well, but the medium width fit perfectly.I still wear my white shoes. I just took my dog for a walk in the park with them on. That was a bad idea because now they are dirty, but that's okay because I can wash and dry them for the millionth time and they will still look like new! I also bought this shoe in all black and I know this is a review for the white, but I'll just say the all black ones do not disappoint either! I highly recommend!!

I was looking and needed new shoes for my feet since I work and stand on my feet all day. Because I used to work for a sporting good retailer many years ago, I knew Brooks Running Shoes were a favorite and a great shoe to walk and run in. I currently have the Ravenna and the Adrenaline GTS. But I've never had the Ghost. I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Faciitis and wanted a great shoe to support my feet all day at work. As soon as I slipped on these shoes to try them on, it was a lifesaver. Feet felt so good it was like butter. And the fit was amazing. Perfect for my small feet. My feet even feel better after I wake up. I still will be using my inserts for my foot but having a high-quality shoe that supports your feet is severely a lifesaver.

I read a ton of great reviews for this shoe. I studied and compared etc. Very lightweight. Arch support was comfortable. But, it ran short. I had to return.

This is the third pair of Brooks running shoes that I have purchased in the last three years. They are very comfortable and great for walking. They fit really well and give great foot support. The first pair I purchased was at a sporting goods store and these were the ones that were recommended for me. I hardly wear any other shoe now. I am an older woman and good foot support is very important. I walk a lot.
