This was a life saver. My wife had surgery and was using a feeding tube for months after. What they gave her from the hospital was full of corn syrup, sugars, and other garbage. This gave her the calories needed without all the junk. We haven't tasted it honestly. As for ease of use, the packets are not great for pouring into a feeding tube. I usually pour it into a glass. Also, I am sure the thickness would be great for other purposes, but we need to thin it out with protein water or egg whites so it will go through the tube. They are very portable, and we can thrown them in a purse or bag and take anywhere. It is definitely cheaper to use what the hospital provided, but why pour sugar in your body when you are already fighting cancer which is fed by sugar? This was well worth the cost... if nothing else, it gave peace of mind.

My dad went on GTube during radiation. He’s diabetic and rather than feeding the junk the hospital provided we went this route. The woman who created this has a fantastic backstory and personal experience using this. Nice that you can purchase online, but it was also available at Dorthy Lane Markets in Ohio. Way better ingredients than the other junk.

I purchased this product because of the formulas tested in a mouse study on liquid diets it was the most anti-inflammatory and had the most beneficial effect on the microbiome. Right out of the pouch I did not like the taste. However when it was chilled and diluted to 1/4th with water I had no problem drinking it through a straw. It tastes like what I imagine a vitamin might taste like. It is well worth the price if you need a partial or full liquid diet.

This is the absolute best! My mom, 88, has used this for 2 years and is healthy and strong.

This is great product for PEG tube feeding. It contains the fiber that my husband needs but does not get from some of the other products we use. It is a bit oily, so you will want to keep some cranberry juice on hand to flush the tube when you are done. Also, you will need to thin this product out a bit with water or another product of your choice so it flows smoothly through the tube.

Be aware: According to the manufacturer, the only authorized seller is Truemark. The flavor is normally good but can fluctuate and occasionally there will be a batch that is so bitter as to be inedible. With Truemark, at least you're buying from the seller the manufacturer recommends so there's a better chance of getting a good batch. Even if you've purchased through Truemark before and hit "repurchase", Amazon may still take you to a different seller. You'll need to click "see all buying options" then "see more" to get to Truemark. It doesn't always come up automatically. That said, Functional Formularies does an excellent job of offering a meal replacement that fulfills daily nutritional needs and contains clean organic ingredients that are actually going to support good health, with none of the added sugar or garbage ingredients that are in so many other nutritional products. I was so happy to find them! It was a life saver for my loved one, who was struggling to chew during the last year. So grateful.

I was using an organic formula that was good but had 16 grams of added sugar per box. They wanted to sell it to both tube feeders and by mouth feeders who might use the formula for just part of their nutrition. That doesn't work. So I was glad to find this. I had to water it down too for tube feeding, but not a problem. It is actually not too much more expensive than comparable formulas. Kate's Farm organic 1.4 which has 16 grams added sugar per carton is $72 per 12. Liquid Hope is 83 per 12 cartons.

Great nutrition for my son to drink whenever he feels hungry at work. He can drink a bag like taking a cup of yogurt!👌 He love it!
