Ordered 12 pack travel vaccum bags with portable electric pump. Received only bag without pump!

These have been amazing. They solve all the problems I found with other solutions I had previously tried. These bags come in convenient sizes for carryon luggage. They are sturdy. They seal well. The pump is amazingly fast and powerful for how small it is and has plenty of battery power to compress numerous storage bags. While they are sturdy, it is possible to destroy the seals when putting things in and taking them out if you handle them roughly. The best way to avoid this is to not over-stuff the bags--just use multiple bags. Alternatively, use bags that are larger than you need and just don't fill them all the way. I noticed that there are some other options on Amazon where the mouth of the bag is along one of the longer sides. I may try that next time as I think that would make it easier to get things in and out of the bags. I was previously using Eagle Creek Pack It Specter Compression Cubes, which I still think are great. However, They don't compress things down as tightly as I would like unless you really stuff them very full, which is hard to do and really strains the seams. I also had tried the kind of vacuum bags where you roll them to squeeze the air out by hand. Those never worked all that well for me--really wrinkled clothes and were hard to lay flat once they were rolled up to compress.

Pump worked once ... I packed a few bags and it worked really well. But the following day it won't work ... nothing ... I charged it up but even when it says it's fully charged I can't turn it on - it wont pump. So the whole purchase was a waste of money.

Be mindful when using the vacuum pump, it’s a bit loud though. But it work well.
