Rust-Oleum 7886830 Appliance Enamel 12-Ounce Spray, Black by Rust-Oleum

Really nice product. High gloss black paint that looks like factory appliance finish. To avoid bubbles when applying the spray paint try to do so in lower humidity. I have bubbles because it's too humid here. Still looks nice.

Used it to paint over rust spots. Prepped it and carefully sprayed. The spray bounces far so be cautious. So far it's holding.

I used this to paint a mailbox. It was used per instructions and the results were great. It has been in service for a month and the edges where the letter carrier and me lift the lid, the paint is coming off because of what i suspect are body oils from touching. Perhaps this could have been avoided if i washed the surface every day after touching--that won't happen.

I had really high hopes for this appliance paint. I have always had good experience with Rust-Oleum. I deducted one star for drying time, because it took much longer than stated on the can. I deducted another star because of the finish. It left that orange peel texture. We painted a range hood. We didn't sandblast first, but sanded extensively. Even on the smoothest bare metal it left the orange feel texture. I wouldn't use this on anything really valuable, but it turned out acceptable enough to reuse the old range hood for now.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have used it for years with outstanding results every time Value for money: One can will last around 3 medium projects Quality: Once dried and cured, its almost bulletproof and requires sandblasting or heavy duty stripper to remove I use this to refinish small parts for various projects. I will spray the paint on, let dry, then toss in the oven for an hour at 400 degrees (ask your wife first). The finish goes from shiny to matte black and once cool, will give you one of the most durable spray paint finishes I have ever seen. If you dont bake it, the finish remains glossy and chip resistant. I have found that the tip does tend to clog towards the end of the can's life, but this paint formula gives you an outstanding value for your money. The photo I uploaded is of the matte finish once oven cured.
