Nice clean way to store potatoes and onions...
I think the way you use these will definitely affect your perception of how "good" they are. I was looking for something to keep my potatoes and onions "fresher" and more handy than a plastic bag from the grocery. I really hate throwing spuds in the back of a cabinet or drawer and then discovering one or more when the smell alerts you to the problem. The other "real" issue for me was not only sprouting, but potatoes that turn green. For those who care, potatoes turn green when exposed to light. This can occur when they are still in the ground or after being marketed and you have them at home. This is important (to me anyway...) because green potatoes are somewhat poisonous. That is to say that a potato that is turning green indicates the presence of solanine which is a systemic poison. If you doubt what I say... look it up. These bags because of their dark interior form a sort of "blackout" condition inside the bag. This will keep the formation of solanine to a minimum as long as the potatoes are not already green when they go into the bag. So, how do the bags work.?? Well, pretty good. I am certainly happy with my results. I have noticed NO green potatoes since I started using these bags about two months ago. Sprouting seems to be reduced too, although potatoes will still sprout in the dark, just like they do in the ground. Potatoes need to be kept cool, dry, and dark. These bags will certainly help with that process. In addition, the bags are quite attractive and do not offend me when seen laying about on the counter or an open shelf or a hanging basket. The bag for onions seems to work well too. Truthfully, if you allow any root vegetable to lay around for weeks at a time, the chances are there will be some spoilage. These bags won't keep me from being stupid, but they do offer a clean and light free way to store my spuds and onions. I am very pleased. Five stars for a good storage bag that seems to function as designed. Perfect..?? No, but then nothing ever is...

Nice product bags
Honestly, I thought this was a silly ideal when my wife first got these bags, both potato and onion. But, like always she taught me something new. The bags do a great job of containing the vegetables and preserving them as well. Both the potatoes and onions have a bad habit of sprouting in our basement where we store them, even covered and in a cool dark place. These seem to work, as we have not had that problem since there use. They also look very nice and keep things organized. Great call.

Good option for single person, not enough storage for family of 3+
These are great for anyone who doesn't eat very many potatoes or onions. Our onions have been crispy and potatoes are sprouting much slower. Although as a plant based family of 3, we find that these bags are far too small for our use. They hold about 6 sweet potatoes... 2 days worth for us. Not a great size for long term storage but they are nice for a plastic-free storage option. The zipper on the bottom is fantastic and the design is adorable decoration. Quality of fabric and thread is very durable, we drag these around the kitchen with little delicacy and they have survived thus far. These would be PERFECT if they were triple the size.

Surprisingly these seem to work well
I got tired of having sprouted or spoiled tatters so on a whim decided to try ordering these. It's been a few months now and so far (I tried these with sweet potatoes) no sprouts and just has fresh as the day I bought the vegetables in the store. The bags are very heavy quality with the only really lower quality part that I can see as a potential problem down the road being a side zipper that seems not the most durable. Otherwise, they are working as intended.

Great quality....
These are well made bags, holds about 5 lbs of potatoes and onions. I love the zipper pocket on the side, convenient. Love that I can hang the bag in my pantry, sturdy cord with closure so it holds up well on a hook. We'll see how long veggies stay fresh in the bags. Quality is there....

Good quality
Already gave them away as they were a bit smaller than I wanted. If using them for a smaller number of potatoes and onions these are a wonderful value and do help the produce stay fresh. It is definitely food quality material with a nice thickness and design which is definitely reuseable.

WOULD BUY AGAIN....
These are super nice. Well made and they have the black liner. Not thin at all. When I first saw thw size I figured there was no way 10 pounds of potoes would fit. I have a 5 pound of restaurant potatoes and and 3 pound of sweet pototoes and they were not small. I got all 8 pounds in the bag as you can see from the picture. So 10 pounds of regular pototoes would fit with no problem I highly recommend them. Getting a set for my mom

Bags are smaller than expected
Years ago I bought these onion and potato bags directly from Miles Kimball. Well, the new ones look like a sweater that shrunk in the dryer. As you can see in the photo the new ones are smaller. The old ones measured 19" long x13. 5" wide. The new ones measured 15" long x 10.75" wide. I seriously doubt it will hold 10 lb of potatoes or onions. Maybe if you filled it to the top but you wouldn't be able to close the bag. Otherwise the bas are the same quality except the zipper opening is smaller. Nevertheless, I'm keeping the bags. I'm no longer feeding a family of four; it's just the two of us now. This will do.

Decorative and Functional
I've had these bags for 8 months and zero complaints. Potatoes and onions remain fresh for a longer period of time. Less waste! They hang on one side of my kitchen cabinets so act as fun decoration and are functional for holding food out of sight. Win win! Great quality fabric and put together well.

Pratico e capiente

Excellent product and very well made
The bags were a little bit smaller than I had expected, at least the potato one was, but they still easily hold more than 3kg which is plenty. The best thing about them is the zip as it allows you to top up the bags with fresh produce whilst using the older items first via the zip. I have some cheaper bags which don't have the zips and to be honest it is worth the extra cost to have them.

Not very big
Bags were not too big, and the draw strings to close the bag very stiff, so much so that one seam parted when trying to close the bag.
