Unreliable manufacturing I guess.

Unfortunately they broke within minutes just from a 70 yr old putting them on. This is why spring hinges are a necessity. The second pair are still in one piece.

Hinge broke in 5 weeks. One week past refund deadline.

I wasted 14 dollars on this pair of reading glasses. The lenses are good, but the hinge set up is weak. What is unusual on these frames, the tiny screw did not break or fall out when the tiny inner hinge broke.
