Blue Diamond 5QT PFAS-Free Ceramic Nonstick Sauté Pan with Lid, Blue

Where has this pan been all my life? I guess I'm just late to the party because ceramic is incredible. After watching another non-stick pan stick time and time again, watching whatever the surface is start to eat away to who knows where, likely my food, I decided it was time to trash it and buy another. I'd read all the dangers of these non-stick surfaces, right along with black plastic utensils, but I was skeptical. I'd used these products all my life and, with the exception of one leg growing shorter and a weird third eye growing out of the back of my head (just kidding), I'm to old to worry at this point. But that's when I came across this Blue Diamond pan. I needed a 5 quart saute replacement and the prices they were charging for those chef hyped-up hex-clad thingies had my retirement plan sweating. I read where you even had to be careful with chemicals used in the manufacturing of these ceramic pans and that Blue Diamond takes care to not use any of them. So...Under $40 sounded like it would be worth a try. Long story, even longer...I'm more than a dozen cooks in now, many with prolonged 400 degree oven add ons, and besides a slight little discoloration on the bottom due to my gas stove, I can't tell it's not brand new. Jeez! It takes whatever I throw at it and just wipes out perfectly clean. I've thrown it in the dishwasher and voila! Perfectly new coming out. And fast? This pan heats up in no time. Everything I cook is faster now, and evenly cooked as well. Bottom line...Save your money. Don't buy into the hype and spend hundreds because a chef uses a certain cookware in their kitchen. These pans will save you money and save you time. I'm going to replace my smaller pans now with these. I am sold. It's ceramic for me for now on.

This is by far my favorite pan, the non stick is so good you don't even need grease to cook on it, it's oven safe and dishwasher safe. The extra handle makes it easy to move when loaded, and it came with a little card where you could submit ideas to make it better, so far I can't think of anything to make it better, and as I replace my other pans they will all be blue diamond.

Still to this day one of are favorite pans.. had this for years and still seems just as new as the day we got it.. super easy to clean.. not to heavy in the hands.

I absolutely love this pan! Huge! Even heating surface. Very flat. The quality is amazing. It comes with the lid. Very well made. You can see and feel the quality. Non-stick. I wouldn't use metal spoons or utensils, I believe it will scratch. However, all pans with this material will do that. It's one of those things, know your product and take care of your product. I think a lot of times people buy things and don't do the research necessary on how to use it and how to care for it, and then think it's a bad product. When in all honesty it's just error on the users end. Again I think this is a great product, great price I highly recommend.

Nice large pan, very heavy and cleans easily.

Pans are no-stick. Just like advertised. Fairly easy enough to clean. Especially if you do it right after they cool down

It is excellent quality but a bit too large for everyday use

2026 UPDATE: After 1-1/2 years of moderate use, this pan isn't durable at all. The hard ceramic coating advertised to be scratch resistant--isn't. Nor is it non-stick any more, making cleanup a pain. Worst of all, the bottom of the pan has bowed in the center, and doesn't sit level on the burner. My other Blue Diamond skillets and saucepan even older than this one, still perform like new--no scratches, no sticking, easy clean-up, and definitely no bowing of the bottom of the pan. Unlike this one that should have lasted more than 1-1/2 years. 2024-- This has quickly become my favorite skillet. I like that it is versatile enough to be used on the burner or in the oven. I even used it for a one pot spaghetti dish--cooked the meat sauce, then put in a dish and wipe out the pan before cooking pasta in the same pan, drain, add meat sauce, and serve. It works great for baked chicken, as well.

I have switched all of my Teflon pans to ceramic and I love this pan. It's states it's safe for using metal spoons, etc. but I'm sticking to silicone. So far it's been an excellent pan, and the size is perfect for up to a quart of liquid. I read a lot of reviews on ceramic pans before deciding on this one, and I'm not disappointed.

We have parrots... it really sucks to get rid of all the non-stick kitchen items and go stainless steel (because of the toxins). Then we came across this TOXIC FREE brand. We love it. This is our third pan (different sizes). The best. And it's METAL UTENSIL safe! Even though I still avoid it. :) I RECOMMEND!
