Michael Healy Dragonfly Door Knocker - Brass (Standard Size)

This is a very quality piece of brass, heavy duty, solid, and easy to install. It looks beautiful on our door, adds an artful touch to a utilitarian piece. Very happy with it!

Very nice classy product in an attractive package. We got tired of doorbells quitting, so we went to old technology for better reliability. The finish is well detailed and highly polished (and, I think, lacquered), and now that it is mounted on our front door, it shows how weathered our old door hardware is. Needless to say, it works well. It is on the side of our house which faces the South, so it gets full sun. This is also the side which is exposed to any severe weather (which often brings salt spray) that we get here in Nova Scotia. So we'll see how it holds up. Initial impressions are very good, though.

The dragon fly itself is wonderful. Nice brass door knocker, good detail. My one comment is that the mounting bracket/strike plate could be a bit more substantial. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I got this as a wedding gift for my cousin. Her mother had been killed in a car accident years ago and had an obsession with dragonflies. The door knocker is gorgeous, heavy, and a nice size. Additionally it came in its own nice box which made it seem like even more of a nice gift. I think that my cousin will really love it.

This was an easy install, and I love looking at it mounted on my front door.Unfortunately, the knocker and mounting hardware to not enable the dragonfly to fulfill its basic purpose: to let the householder know that someone outside seeks their attention.Still, it is pretty.

I am getting 2 double doors installed for my home so I purchased 2 of these. They have not been installed yet but are beautiful. They each come in a black bag in a beautiful box with a card about the artist.
