This is the the sixth time I have ordered this product and this last order appears to be a defective batch. All orders prior to this one have been as expected and consistent for quality, flavor and texture. I have added pictures to show the difference in appearance of the Atkinsons Chick-O-Sticks. The first picture is the latest order received on 10/19/2019 sold by First Choice Candy and fulfilled by Amazon. The bulk package is unopened and clearly shows the candy to be off colored from picture provided on First Choice Candy's sale page. The second picture shows a side by side comparison of the product wrapped to unwrapped. The candy on the left (purchased from another supplier on Amazon) is as expected and looks just like the picture on First Choice Candy's sale page. The candy on the right is what was received from First Choice Candy. The product is not as described and should not be sold in this condition since there is no description or disclaimer stating the differences in appearance from what is pictured on the sale page and what is actually sold and delivered from First Choice Candy. I did not sample it for flavor due to the differences of appearance, I couldn't trust the product solely based upon this and threw it away. Hopefully this is just a bad batch that slipped through the cracks but the seller should have noticed this as well and not allowed it to be distributed to unknowing consumers especially since this is not an isolated case. Many reviews of this item have stated the same thing making me want to question the products authenticity. I have contacted Amazon and since it was fulfilled by Amazon they took care of me and made it right as I knew they would. Hopefully with this review, the supplier will be more aware and increase its QC to not allow consumable products in this state to ship out to consumers.
