wow, i am honestly surprised at these! i am a colored pencil obsessed person and buy way more than i need....saw these thinking i was going to include them with a bunch of 8x5 sketch notebooks for someone. but i am keeping these and getting more! Now, I have Staedtler, Kalour, Shuttle Art, DrawArt, and Mr. Pen pencils. This set, rolled up, are comparitive to Kalour, smooth and blendable, but the pencil and lead DONT FEEL LIKE they are going to break in your coloring! Seem like harder end pencils that actually are smooth and creamy to color with. I was thoroughly impressed. I also bought a 72 pack of Staedtler pencils to compare, as I use that brand for sketch pencils. The Staedtler colored pencils are actually super hard, dont color in a blendable manner unless you barely touch the paper with them and are not fully round and hard to sharpen because of that. So, these, cheaper ones, in the rolled up pack....excellent range of colors, great coloring and strong pencils. I would recommend to everyone, beginner or experienced! Great take along pack with alot of color shade choices! Love love love it.

I love this roll up colored pencil organizer! An art teacher friend of our had a roll up organizer for her paint brushes so when I saw this it made total sense. Now I don't have to wrestle with this box and that box and keeping the lids out of the way. Roll it up to save space. Roll it open for instant, high visible access to 36 choices of colors. And your pencil sharpener is right there in the kit!

I bought this product because I liked the color options and the case design. I originally thought that I would use them myself, but I have an adult daughter that loves to color and she quickly latched onto them. The colors show up well and are smooth when coloring. A small sharpener was included in the case which makes it convenient when away from home. The case wraps up neatly for easy travel. Overall, it seems to be a good value for what you get and my daughter is receiving many hours of relaxation, which made it well worth purchasing. These pencils have been enjoyed by multiple people and age ranges in our household.

I have not used colored pencils since I was kid. I researched five different brands on Amazon, all with varying prices, & had no idea there was such a vast difference in colored pencils. I've read that some pencils are to soft/waxy, while others require the user to have to press too hard in order to obtain good coloring. The reviews on this particular set seemed to bridge between those two different issues. Firstly, I want to mention the travel canvas/leather wrap that these pencils are housed in. I LOVE IT! It conveniently keeps the pencils organized, & rolls up into a nice-sized parcel. Secondly, some reviewers have commented on the sharpener that's included in this kit. I have used it a few times, rounding it very slowly around the circumference of the pencil, & it works GREAT! Lastly, for my purposes, the variety of colors included in this kit are adequate. However, some of the pencils do require me to push harder on them than others in order to achieve any depth of color, so there is some minor inconsistency there. This is why I gave it an overall rating of 4 stars. While I do have to push a bit harder with most of these pencils than what I would like, they are still achieving my overall purpose. I would rather have to push a touch harder, than have pencils that are too soft and break, which seems to be the issue with some other pencils. So on that note, this was a great purchase & I am satisfied.

These colored pencils are a pleasure to use. The pigments are rich and vibrant, producing bold colors even with light pressure. They layer and blend beautifully, making them perfect for both beginners and more advanced artists. The cores are smooth and consistent, so the color goes down evenly without scratchiness. They sharpen easily without breaking, which saves both time and wasted material. The variety of shades in the set provides a lot of creative flexibility for different projects, from coloring books to more detailed illustrations. The pencils feel comfortable in hand, and the finish on the barrels looks polished and professional. They also come well-packaged, keeping everything organized and protected during storage. For the price, the quality is excellent, and they perform just as well as some higher-end brands I have tried.

The pencils themselves have an average pigment. They are nice and long and will last me awhile. This set has a nice variety of colors, with a pencil sharpener. What I like most, is the carrying case. The pencils are individually secure, instead of having them jumbled in a box. It's a soft roll that is easy to carry in my daypack for nature journaling. Just what I was looking for! These aren't just for beginners, it depends on what you are using them for.

These pencils have the most wonderful writing tip. Great for adult colorbooks. The colors are clear and sharp. Able to leave both a hard stern or soft light look to your art. The holder rolls out nicely and seems to be very durable. The kids are sure to have lots of fun both toting these around and using them for their art work.
