Replacement Ear Pads for Bose QC15, QC25, QC35 and AE2

A good fit for my QC35-IIs, and seems to have been improved slightly, with the cut-out in the blue meshes in the right place now, so no need to trim. Good value and very comfortable. I don't think they last as long as the Bose originals - the inside seam on my last set started to split (see photo), but only after about 2 years of fairly heavy use, and they're so much cheaper that I'm happy to keep buying these as necessary, and give them 5 stars!

Easy to fit and just as comfortable as the originals

These fit the headphones (in my case QC 35ii) perfectly. They are a struggle to get properly seated behind the clips, but that's the design of the headphones and it's necessary for them to sit securely. Every clip has to be properly seated in front of the lip of the pad mounting ring. If you miss one, the pads can flex and come loose fairly quickly. The feel of the pads is very good. Nearly, but not quite as soft and tactile as the original set (which tend to disintegrate, as I'm sure these replacements also will over time). I think if someone had secretly swapped the originals with these when the headphones were still quite new, I probably wouldn't even have noticed. The look and build quality seem very good, indistinguishable from the originals (which... again... tend to disintegrate over time, so manage your expectations in the long term!). I would recommend buying these over the 'genuine' replacements direct from Bose, as you're really not getting much more for the substantial price increment for the Bose ones.

My review is on the quality of the product on delivery, and I have yet to see how it weathers. The material on my Bose headphones recently split after considerable use/misuse. I purchased this replacement set of earpads because they were the cheapest and there seemed no difference to others being offered. I watched a You Tube video before arrival and found the replacement of my old pads very easy. One of the 4 strips of double sided tape did not separate, but this made no difference at it only holds the interior fabric in place, and could well have been my fault. It held in place anyway and all is good. My model is a QC35II and although other items state only this model, this one said it was suitable for several models and fitted perfectly. One additional tip - when clipping the part into the headphones, twist the inside of the plastic ring out towards you to make the outside snap easily under the lugs. It really is not complicated. My partner has a new pair of the same model headphones and it is only the headband that tells them apart now. They both feel and sound the same. Recommended for a cheap effective refurbishment ! Delivery was prompt too !

These ear cups/ cushions provide greater comfort and can be worn for long periods of time without fatiguing the ear or the head, furthermore they seem to be made of high quality materials. They were very easy to install and the installation process took about 5 minutes to install. However I found that these were slightly more expensive than similar products listed on eBay. Having said that, the fact that they were delivered to me the next day, i have no complains even if i did end up paying a bit more . Furthermore the provide decent passive noise isolation as they create nice and snug fit over the ear. Overall I would recommend these over the official Bose ones as they are much better value for money and considering that the original ones didn't last too long,, i strongly believe that these are worth every penny .

Excellent replacement

Perfect fit for Bose QC 25, cannot really tell any difference from the original. Same thickness and cushioning . No need to replace the blue L and R inserts . Fitting them took just a few minutes. Gently push in them in with thumb until you hear a little click, used a small , stubby flat head screwdriver to help to tease them in . Happy with purchase

My old ear cups were very tatty, I put up with them shedding some covering but then they split so time to do something about them! I looked at deals on the QC25 (a great buy now) and QC35 models but then found replacement ear cups so I thought I'd give them a try! I watched a couple of YouTube videos to see what to do and then had a try myself. The old ear cups and scrims were easy to remove and the new scrims were easy to put in, the notched side being slightly wider which I guess allows them to fit more Bose headphone models and keeps the costs down for everyone. The ear cups went in reasonably well, I found pressing down one the side I'd just done kept it in place while I did the other side but not every gripper gave a click. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes (plus the time watching YouTube tutorials) and I am enjoying music in comfort again. Having the L and R on the scrims inside of each ear cup as per the QC25 and newer models is an update I like having over the original Bose QC15 items.
