Great product; leaves hair silky, protected, and shiny. This is a tried and true; used it as a teenager. Love that a little bit goes such a long way with this. My hair needs something to lock in moisture and help prevent damage that doesn’t weigh it down or make it feel greasy or oily. This is so lightweight. My only issue is a small one and with the packaging, not the product - who could possibly read the ingredients on this bottle? I have 20/20 vision and had to go online to double check that I could use it on dry hair. (You can, btw.)

This product is fantastic I know it had its heyday in the 80s but there is a reason it's amazing and there is a reason to keep using it I remember seeing my mom having it and she's got a very brittle short curly hair while I have long fine thin hair that has a bit of a wave to it but it's mostly straight. This seems to put proteins into your hair if you put it in just out of the shower and then you can seal it off after you dry your hair with a little bit of it on your hands this bottle is so tiny but a little bit goes such a long way that I'm afraid they're going to discontinue it by the time I'm done with this bottle :-) it is fantastic and I just don't know why I don't see it everywhere these days I literally asked my stylist hey do you have this product that you could put in before you style my hair? She did not but I did send her photos and all that good stuff once it came in because finding the right hair care product line for yourself especially if it's different brands takes some trial and error but I am happy to say this one had no error the trial had a jury and the verdict came out as 100% awesome so buy it do not hesitate don't worry about it don't read all the reviews and stress yourself out just order it and yes it's a very small but don't sweat it because it only takes a little bit to work and even when you put a little bit in you still have extra so my only word of caution would be be careful of putting moisturizer on your face after you've used this because who knows if it might make your skin break out or something so make sure you wash your hands before putting on facial moisturizer if you've done this right out of the shower other than that enjoy this product I might even go buy a big bottle before they discontinue it or something it would break my heart if they did but if this was popular in the 80s and it's still being sold today I think we can all rest assured that buying a small bottle at first is cool and then deciding to buy a larger bottle when you have the money and the time would probably last you about a year at least and I wish my mother would use this again because her hair just breaks at a certain length she was born with their haircut and she still has that haircut LOL but she's always had such trouble with the texture of her hair and I've seen it in her cabinet in the past I just don't know why she's not using it now I recommended the silk cap and this to her and she didn't take my advice but I hope someone here Will because it's a fantastic product and we don't want to have a discontinued. Please buy this you will feel like a goddess our God depending on your gender but you will definitely feel a total hair transformation. I was disappointed because a gel was discontinued that had these qualities but the added benefit of a gel to give your hair a little bit of curl and style. So instead of moaning and being sad about the discontinuing of a great product I found a way to use this in conjunction with a gel in a small amount to give myself the same effect the discontinued gel from shea butter gave me. It's kind of like having a limited diet like I have you're able to put the products into your hair that work for you rather than having them all in one bottle and some of the parts may not be perfect for you so get out the shower put this in your hair and move along knowing that you are going to be feeling like it's beautiful and not want to wash it for days :-)

I like this hair therapy, it has a delicious smell, the key texture and does not leave the hands sticky, it helps with frizz

I've actually been using this product on and off for a few years, so I know it well. If I were more consistent with it, I’m sure I’d have a more thorough assessment. That said, I absolutely love the scent—it’s a subtle fragrance that you can even apply directly to your skin. Over time, it does make my hair shinier and softer, which is why I keep coming back. Plus, the small bottle lasts a long time, especially for shoulder-length hair.

I have bought MANY different hair products to calm my crazy, frizzy hair. This BioSilk Original was a referral from a friend and it worked very well on my first treatment. At first, I used it only on my ends and the rest of my hair puffed up like a Q-tip. My friend told me to go from scalp to the ends, which worked amazingly well. I still use my flat iron the ends, but not to the point where I am damaging my hair. I bought a small bottle as a tester, but will be reordering the larger size.

Years ago I used to buy a huge bottle of this for about $30.00 from a local hairdresser and it literally lasted years (that probably wasn't a good thing!) I used to use it on my body too. The salon stopped selling it and since then I've tried everything and never found anything I liked. Then I found this tiny bottle here, but if you're using it for the first time, DON'T use it like other hair oils... you need a TINY bit. When I opened it, it had that beautiful familiar fresh scent I remembered and ofcourse it's just perfection in every way, except the bottle is too small and precious to slather on my arms and legs!

I’ve been using the BioSilk Silk Therapy for a while now, and it truly lives up to its reputation. Just a tiny amount leaves my hair incredibly soft, smooth, and noticeably shinier without feeling heavy. It works especially well on frizz and makes styling much easier, almost like a salon finish at home. I also love that it doubles as a heat protectant and helps improve the overall look and feel of my hair over time. The bottle lasts ages since you only need a drop or two. The only downside is that it’s very easy to use too much, especially if you have fine hair, which can make it look a bit greasy. But once you get the right amount, it’s amazing. Overall, a classic product that really delivers on shine and smoothness, I would definitely repurchase.
