RF 24-105mm f/4L is USM Zoom Lens, Black, Compatible with EOS R Series Mirrorless Cameras

This RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens has superb sharpness across all f stops (edges a little soft at f4, but to be expected), focuses extremely quickly and accurately, and is a perfect size for a travel lens. The fixed f4 at all lens lengths is a plus. The lens does extend when changing lens lengths, but a lock button prevents it from extending while being carried. On compositions involving overcast sky and water, the lens did fail to achieve autofocus, but these were rare instances overall. I am a little disappointed in the construction. It feels light and made of plastic. I have no idea how well it will withstand long term use. But performance wise, I have no complaints. It is advertised and sold as an L lens, but the L does not appear on the lens itself. The L does not appear even on the picture of the lens posted on the Canon site. This causes some concern as to whether it has all of the assumed L quality features. But so far, I am very satisfied with the lens and happy with the purchase.

This lens quality is so sharp and amazing while still having a very compact design. The image stabilization on it works very flawless. This lens works amazing with the noise staying pretty low, which is good. Best Lens for your money!

As an amateur user, this lens has been amazing. The Canon RF 24–105mm f/4L delivers excellent image quality, sharpness, and stabilization across a very useful focal range. It’s a great all-around lens for many situations and feels solid and well built. A fantastic choice that easily exceeds expectations.

Great lens. I am a Professional Photojournalist with a local 3 county newspaper. Even though it isn't an f/2.8, it'll work for my needs. (I already have the RF 24-70mm f/2.8) I plan on using this lens for bright outdoor events and inside events with a flash where I need just a bit more reach than the 24-70. I like that it is lighter, yet has 35mm more reach in locations I work in, this should "almost" replace my 24-70 as my go-to lens. As any RF lens, it is wicked sharp and fast on the focusing and accuracy. Another RF L lens for my growing arsenal of lenses.

With an upcoming trip to Yellowstone National Park, I reached out to a friend who's a full time photographer to help me (an aspiring hobbyist photographer) pick out a diverse lens that would do Yellowstone justice. Without hesitation she recommended the Canon RF 24 - 105mm as a excellent "workhorse" lens.Delivery/Packaging: The delivery and packaging was excellent, safe, and was shipped with care. We received it promptly and were able to get it all ready prior to our trip.Quality: As with all Canon products we've ordered, the quality is top notch. The lens is heavy enough to be "felt" in the right way, and came with a nice protective cover which we used when traveling.Use: We found the lens to effectively fit our needs in Yellowstone, looking at far off mountains and waterfalls and then up close and personals with Bison grazing with their young. The features and zoom worked excellent, and we're thrilled to develop our pictures to remember our amazing trip.Overall, I'd HIGHLY recommend this lens. In fact, when buying the Canon RB camera, we selected ONLY the body and went with this lens as the stock lens that comes with these cameras can't stand next to this! Excellent buy.

After one year using it i can definitely say this is a great lens for traveling, is not that heavy, the autofocus is great, and it provides a great value for the price.

I got this lens for my new Canon R6. This is the most versatile and suitable all purpose lens. Much needed during travel, holiday trip and day to day photography needs for a enthusiastic photographer like me. Build quality is awesome. Feels good in hand. Pictures are very sharp even at low light conditions. Thanks to the IS both inside lens and R6 body. Color and contrast is the best. This is a L lens and is weather shield. I got all I needed. And a constant f4 is very valuable. The zoom range is so practical that covers most of my needs. Comes with the original Canon hood in the box and a lens pouch. Thanks to Amazon for timely delivery. Packaging was good. Got the warranty card inside and registered the product in Canon Edge website and the warranty was showing little less than 2 years but sent email to Canon India support and rectified the same. Now got full year warranty. The product is new and genuine.

Si vous possédez une version antérieur tel que le ef 24-105mm f4 is usm mark 1 ou mark cet version est absolument inutile.Et pour ceux qui voudraient faire l'acquisition d'un objectif sur cette focal .Le ef 24-105mm f4 is usm meme le mark 1 fait presque jeux égale avec celui ci .La qualité optique pur et dur ce joue sur du détail, des bords a peine plus riche en détails, sur un capteur 24mpx la différence sera vraiment nul , probablement plus perceptible sur un 33 ou 45mpx.La seul vrai différence c'est l'efficacité de la stabilisation et l'autofocus qui est a peine mieux mais rien de choquant.Un ef 24-105mm f4 is usm mark 1 d'occasion garantie 1an coûte entre 250e et 350euro soit 1000euro de moins et vous donnera entière satisfaction dans 95% des situations.Et avec cette différence il est possible de ce faire plaisir sur d'autres focals.Beaucoup d'objectif en rf sont juste de légères améliorations de leurs prédécesseurs en ef .

Not much to say about this excellent lens. Good improvements on the EF version (EF 24-105 mm f/4L, Mark I). A good choice for an all-round lens if budget permits.
