I have not put them in the washer yet. I have hand washed them in the sink vigorously several times and they've gotten pretty clean. I wouldn't be afraid to put them in the washer, they're really sturdy, but I'd hang them to dry.

First of all, that’s a hilarious visual of the goblin-shark lab puppy...so thanks for that, love it! And my answer would be yes, these gloves will serve you well. We are past the razor sharp puppy teeth stage, but I have every reason to believe the gloves are thick and sturdy enough to survive puppy teeth. What I like about them is that they give really great protection, by covering a large area (past my elbow and I’m 6’) and have consistent thickness throughout. The last thing I’ll mention is that I like that despite how much glove you have on, they are quite light and nimble making it easy to still wrestle and play with our 2 year old boxer.

will these gloves survive vicous llama bite?

Hmm, can't help with this one. Never experienced a Llama bite. My guess is that the material would sustain the bite (no puncture) but that you'd still have all the impact from the pressure of the bite (bruising/broken bones).

Hi, Actually after a couple of uses, I only have to reach for them and my dog calms down and I have no need to wash. When he would become aggressive, I would pet him before trying to handle him, so now things are fine, and I rarely need them anymore.
