Made project look great
Received my order and to my surprise they are better looking than what I expected. Looks great on the homemade keep sake boxes I made from some cedar and pine I had left over from a different project. I know they are small and are built as best it can for its size. They could be built a bit heavier for a little bit more durability. You also need a pair of tiny needle nose or tweezers to hold the screws. Overall a good addition to home projects.

Perfect for DIY Projects
I bought a charming lamp and needed some hardware to enhance its look, and these jewelry box hinges were perfect. They add a lovely antique touch and are of excellent quality and color. Highly satisfied with how they completed my project!

Antique Elegance and Sturdy Materials.
This is good quality hardware designed for small wooden boxes. Installation gets easier every time. Once you have your wooden boxes assembled, put the box lid on top and hold it in place with low adhesive masking tape on the sides. Attach your hinges in your desired location, then remove masking tape, and make sure the lid opens and closes smoothly. Now connect the front latch top with the bottom, and place them on the front of your box. Mark the holes with a pencil. Remove them and first attach the larger piece to the bottom section of the box. Once it’s screwed in, close the lid connect the lock as it’s supposed to be, and ensure it is in alignment with the bottom section. Make sure the edges of the lock are parallel with each other. Screw the last section in and test that it works smoothly.

Decent enough hardware, be patient with the screws.
The hardware itself is fine for the price. I pre drilled the holes for the screws but they broke off very easily. Not great quality.

Strong, sturdy and attractive locksets
This is my 2nd order for these handy locksets! Although very small they are excellent for jewelry boxes, they are strong, sturdy and can be screwed and unscrewed several times without damaging them. They are also attractive and the more jewelry boxes I make I will continue to add these gems as they are great and serve their purpose very well

These are decorative only. Very thin. Paper thin.
These are nice looking latches but they will not hold anything together. Don't expect these to hold your box closed or tightly latched. These are very thin and should only be used as a decorative latch and nothing more. If you need something to keep the box closed or secure you'll want to use an actual trunk or box latch. If your box sits on a table or shelf and doesn't ever move around or get used frequently then these might work just fine. Good luck.
