Fosmon WaveLink Wireless Doorbell Chime, 500ft Range, 1 Receiver 1 Sensor

I purchased this last year because my toddler sleeps on the 2nd floor and we sleep on the 3rd floor and I needed peace of mind knowing I had an extra set "eyes and ears" on her while we are asleep. If I didn't hear her awake and moving around on the baby monitor, I wanted to know that this would for sure wake me if she decided to venture out of her room while I was asleep (heaven knows that sometimes even a light sleeper can fall into a deep sleep!). It works like a charm!! Installation was quick and easy! We installed it at the top of her door (so she would never be able to pull it off) with the double stick tape that was provided and it didn't quite work because the door frame is a little chunkier- but it was an easy fix . I had extra double stick tape left over from something else so I just doubled up on the tape and that lifted it enough to get it to meet./touch the sensor. We plugged in the sound receiver in our bedroom and chose one of the many chimes/songs and adjusted the volume (the loudest level is very loud!) and synced them without issue. You will need a 2nd person to help sync them if you are more than 5 seconds away from the door. I should also note that there is a blue light that blinks with the sound/song/beat which I think is a great feature for the hearing impaired. I am writing this review a little over a year after purchasing it because our receiver stopped working, but I emailed the company and they sent me a new one for free! There is a lifetime warranty on their product- how amazing is that?! The process was quick and easy, just a few emails explaining the problem, verifying my purchase on amazon (send them invoice from your "previous orders" and verifying address.) WOW- not many companies stand by their product like this and I was already pleased with our door chime, but this experience just took it to another level! Totally recommend this product for your adventurous toddler, secret mom power to 'mysteriously' appear when a kid opens a door, or business!

I'm thoroughly impressed with this product! The installation process was very easy, and the bell's sound is just right - not too loud, making it perfect for a business setting. Kudos for maintaining such high quality!

Purchased for a neighbor to help manage an Alzheimers patient in the home who like to 'sneak' outside every once in a while. Works well for sliding door application. Volume control is great for those hard of hearing. Value for money - excellent. We'll see how long it lasts. So far, so good. Couple notes: 1) the tunes are nifty- but some songs play a little longer than you really need to 2) the Edison plug-in is not grounded, and the prongs/blades are the same size - so the base tends to want to slip out of the outlet. I think they made the blades the same size so it can be more versatile with outlets/available space, however, that concept backfires a bit because although the item weighs virtually nothing, we had to bend those blades in sightly to help keep it plugged in. Besides that: perfect solution for the need we required of it.

Opened a new shop 4 days ago. This is a good door chime. Unfortunately there are just a couple issues. 1. Doesn't chime every time. It is well within range, maybe 40 feet from each other, and it misses chiming when the door opens about 5% of the time. Not as big of a deal right now but when you are in the back making product and someone comes in your kitchen a little pissed because you are not there to help them, it's embarrassing. The sensor light on the door lights but the receiver does not pick up. 2. As other reviews stated, only 1 or 2 chimes of the massive are workable. Most are songs that are not professional sounding. Not ready to throw this off a high bridge but if the percentage goes up any, I'm going to see if it flies. I was very hopeful it would be better. Not saying this is junk at all. Just be prepared. UPDATE: The opportunity to return this expired 4 days ago. Now, this POS is working about 50% of the time. Now that we moved the receiver less than 15 feet from the sensor. Tossing this off the highest bridge in Texas

This is my second time purchasing the Fosmon Door Chime since the first one seemed to have an issue with its Ring Tones. The first Door Chime worked great for 1+ year but then all of a sudden there was no sound emitting when the door was opened anymore. At first, I thought it was the battery so I replaced the battery but that did not fix the issue. After several days of trying to figure out what the problem was, I ended up ordering a new Chime and giving the old one another try. SUrprisingly the old Chime worked for a whole of 2 minutes and then it stopped working again. At this point, I believe there was a broken/loose wire inside of the receiver and it was not worth it to spend any more time on this device. I installed the new device and so far it's been working like it's supposed to. The only problem I have with this Chime is longevity hence the 4 stars. Another, for me, small matter to consider is that while the Chime does work great most of the time there are a few instances where the chime failed to sound. This was not an issue for me but it might be for someone else.

This took about 10 minutes to install. It took more time to figure out what tune you wanted to use than to set them up. I really like that you can have a different tune for every door so I know exactly what door is being opened. I got these for my elderly father who has dementia that kept getting up in the middle of the night and wandering around the house in the dark. Now he stays in his room because he can at least remember that there is an alarm on his door and if he opens the door we’re going to come down and ask him what he’s up to. ;) We are sleeping a lot better now days because we are no longer worried that he might be out there and hurt himself. I would also recommend these for people with young children who might be worried that the kids would get up in the middle the night or early in the morning to get in trouble. Because you can program a different tune for every door. You can also put them on windows.

I have bought numerous mail box alarms but nothing worked very well. Since my area has a lot of mail thieves I decided to alter this door sensor for use as a mail sensor. After receiving it from amazon, I opened the transmitter(where the battery it located). There is a small coil antenna in this this case. I put the battery in and attached it to my mail box in numerous positions but nothing worked dependably. I concluded that the metal mail box was blocking the signal from reaching the receiver. I went into the transmitter and bent the last coil of the antenna slightly outward to allow me to solder about 1 foot of speaker wire to it. I feed the speaker wire (with the rubber sheathing still on it) through a small hole in the transmitter , then through a small hole in the mail box and ran the new antenna (speaker wire) around the bottom of the mail box but not blocking the antenna with any mail box metal. The receiver is about 200 feet from the mail box and so far this conversion has worked for the psst two to three weeks. I now bring in the mail as soon as it arrives. It even went of at 3 am in the morning when a mail thief was looking for mail and left the mail box open. So far I really like this little unit.

I wish Fosmon could teach other companies how to provide customer service. Theirs is amazing and so is this product. The directions were pretty easy to understand (so many products don't come with instructions), however I was not sure if I could pair up 2 sensors with the same 5 receivers. Weiung (in the tech department) assured me you could do just that and he stayed on the phone to make sure I was able to be successful. After I hung up I had another question, called back, and AMAZINGLY was immediately connected to Weiung. WOW is all I can say! Another nice touch, he encouraged me to call back with any question/concern. As for the product, this product has saved me already 4 times in the first 3 hours of installation. When my wandering husband opens the door the receivers go off and I can get to the door before he can go too far. THANKS Fosman!!!!

I bought this 3 years ago, and it worked well the majority of the time, it no longer works, even after changing the battery. This was used in a commercial retail space, so it got A LOT of use, I am eastern Canada, and this was on a metal /glass door, it held up really well in the -30c temps, I will be re-ordering the same product to replace, but with 2 sensors this time. overall I am satisfied with this product, for the price and the the use we got out of it.

It’s hard to find a chime for residential use that will let you know if somebody opens a door to through a doorway, unless you are talking about a stand-alone security system, or you want to pay a hefty price for a simple system. I took the sensor and stuck the pieces to the door and the door frame. I plugged the chime in and it worked. It’s very easy to set up and they provide double sided tape for the sensor units (or you can screw them in). I did not test the range but the chime and sensors are on separate floors, with the system working perfectly. I have no problem recommending this to anybody who needs to know if anybody is accessing a private area with little hassle or headaches.

I had ordered one previously ( Sept 2019) and it was really easy to install and worked fine for 4 months and then the chime stopped working. I used it in a busy store, so I thought it had been well used, and served me well, so I ordered another on Amazon. What I received was a product that appeared to have been used, as the adhesive on the receiver looked as if it had been ripped off the surface where it had been placed. ( see photo) I tried the unit anyway, before installing it, and it did the same a s my old unit. The lights would flash, but did not chime. I believe someone shipped back the unit because it didn't work, but the company didn't check the contents of the return.

My father has advanced stages of dementia and had been diagnosed with en enlarged prostate. He had a a catheter put in until his surgery was scheduled. At all times of the night, he'd get up and try to remove or empty his reservoir which cause a LOT of frustration for everyone and obviously a mess. With this product which the sensor we put on his bedroom door, we were notified that he was up in the middle of the night and moving to the washroom - which would give us ample time to calm him down and get him back to bed. I'm sure there is a hundred reasons to use this mobile chime system, but this was by far a life-saver. The range was good. The two-way tape included was enough to keep the sensor on the door/frame and could be removed without any mess. The instructions are simple and the volume selection was great and the price was fantastic! Thank you for providing a great product and keeping our family safe.
