Took an hour, looks great, easy assembly
The instructions were easy, all pieces accounted for. Looks as pictured, perfect bench for our home. The only reason this gets 4 stars is due to our cushion having a couple stains on it. Granted we flipped it over to hide but it should have been without issue.

Fortunately, those damaged pieces were in the back or ...
When i opened it, I automatically noticed damaged pieces. But, because i had it sitting in the box without opening for over a month, i just made it work. Fortunately, those damaged pieces were in the back or facing inside. The small backrest piece was broken in half, and I still made it work. It seems sturdy for now. Hoping all the screws hold it together.

Falls apart
Put it all together, turned it over when finished and it all fell apart from the top and bottom. Cheap particle board did not hold the screws and dowels. I expected better from Better Home and Garden! It does NOT get my seal of approvam!

Very sturdy bench.
Very nice bench. We use it in our bathroom for displaying towels and for sitting on after showering to get dressed. Very sturdy. A little longer than I would have liked for our space, but it still works.

Had some chipped areas towards the back but didn’t really affect assembly so I just kept it.

Looks Great, But Came Damaged
Overall, this case looks great and was easy enough to put together, but a few pieces were delivered with scratches. Luckily, the scratches aren't noticeable after the shelf was built and filled with books.

Nice and sturdy bench. The only complaint is some of the pre-drilled holes where off adeit difficult to put the bench toge
