TWO sets of filter elements: purple HEPA filter + blue water washing filter (Washable). The functions are to FIRST purify solid pollutants, pet hair, dander, dust, and pollen, THEN Secondary filtration thoroughly purifies smoke, odors, and other biological pollutants while intelligently humidifying. The first thing to do when unpacking is to take out the foam pad under the water tank. Its function is to prevent the valve that controls the water level from being damaged during transportation. Use 1-2 or auto mode during the day, and sleep mode at night. It's so quiet; add water about once every 36 hours, just tap water. It's easy to operate; I DO NOT NEED TO USE THE MANUAL. If the red light keeps flashing, it's just reminding you that the water tank or filter is not installed correctly, not that the machine is broken. (The details are in the QA section, which solved all my problems).

Quiet and simple to use
The size of this purifier and humidifier is perfect, just large enough to fit a good amount of water. No smell from the unit, it works very well and is simple to set up. It’s very quiet when running, even on the regular mode. Since it’s a combo unit, it is a fantastic value. I recommend!

Not worth the trouble
Low water indicator comes on randomly when tank is full; display flashes on and off for no reason. The first time I used it, the low water indicator wouldn’t stop flashing and I started a return after chatting with an Amazon rep who had no troubleshooting suggestions, but then the next day it seemed fine. Over the past two weeks it’s done the flashing thing like four times. It usually stops if I unplug it for a while, but I’m not going to continue to do this every few days. I just initiated a return and will have to look for another product. When it worked, it worked well, but what’s the point if it’s not consistent?
